I must have fell asleep because when I woke up I saw three of my friends sitting in the room with me.
"Hey, how are you feeling?" Jeanette asked. I replied with a thumbs up, I still felt sleepy.
Next to Jeanette was Sarah and Violet. They were quietly looking at me with a smile. I smiled back at them when I realized there was something in Violets hand, a little baggy.
" what's that?" I asked.
" just something I thought you might like" she said " Open it"
As she passed me the baggy I unwrapped it and saw that there was a small, brown teddy bear that read get well soon.
I immediately thank her for the gift and gave her a hug. Then I asked them how they found out I was in the hospital because I didn't tell anybody and my mom didn't have their number. They then told me that my mom called their mom and told them all about the situation.
I looked over to my mom and told her thank you. I was so grateful to have her and to have such great friends.
A nurse then walked in and told me that my permanent room was ready. So my three friends had to then leave back home. They quickly said their goodbyes and left. I was strolled down the hallways of the hospital and into my new room.
My room wasn't like the one I was in before, This one was more colorful. It had a TV, large windows, a bathroom, and a bigger bed. The color of the walls were blue and green. It even had a couch that turns into a bed for my mom. The only bad thing was that I was still hooked into my IV so I knew it would be difficult for me to sleep.
My mom took a shower and change into the pair of clothes that she had brought but she would need more so she called my family members to bring some. I knew they wouldn't mind because we were all so close and we lived in the same street not in the same house though.
I, on the other hand, was watching TV. The TV didn't have channels it had movies and good ones. I was watching Transformers and ordered some food.
Then I got a pulse in my head basically a migraine so I turned off the TV. It kept getting worse. I put a pillow over my head to lower the pressure but it wouldn't work so I ordered some ice from the nurse and she asked me if I wanted some medicine and I hesitated because I hate medicine but I said OK.
She gave me medicine through my IV and they made me drowsy and sleepy so soon I was falling asleep.
