By accident, with Love..

Pretend?

Skai was still trying to process what happened before the movie. She didn't pay any attention to the movie. All she could think about was Tyler's body pressed against her, in front of people, not caring and..

"SKAI!!" Tyler yelled, startling Skai.

She jumped out her seat, and looked over at Tyler who has been trying to talk to her.

"What is with you?" Tyler asked.

"Nothing, I'm sorry. I was just thinking about the movie."

They watched "The Fault in Our Stars."

"It was so sad, ya know.. What if I lost someone that important to me? Movies like that make me appreciate the people I have in my life and to cherish and hold them close." Skai said to Tyler, who was still looking confused.

Tyler kept looking at Skai, trying to figure her out.

"Yeah, it was a sad movie. But hey, you'll never lose me. I'm here forever."

Skai's heart sank to her stomach once more, and looked at Tyler.

"Forever is a long time. Sure you won't find another best friend? Or get tired of me?" Skai questioned her.

"Another best friend!? Haha, no. I like having you as my best friend. You're already a handful. You give me headaches. But I wouldn't want anyone else to take your place." Tyler answered.

A smile spread across Skai's face.

"Forever," she thought. "Can I go forever having her just as my best friend?" Her smile faded, and she put her head down. She stared off out the window.

Tyler knew something had been bothering Skai. She kept glancing over, looking at her stare out of the window. She wanted to know what was wrong. "Did I do something wrong? Am I a bad kisser? Did my breath stink?" She questioned herself, "it didn't feel wrong.. I must be going crazy. Maybe there's nothing even wrong with her, and I'm just overthinking.."

Both girls got out the car at the same time. Tyler walked Skai to her dorm room, which was right beside hers.

"Want me to come in?" Tyler asked Skai.

"Well, would you like to come in? I don't have a problem with it. You can stay over if you'd like." Skai answered.

"Yes. I would love that. Kind of don't want to be alone tonight, my roommates are a pain in my ass. You're lucky that yours are never there. You basically don't have any."

"Haha. Yeah, but it does get lonely. It'd be nice if you stayed over. We can watch Netflix all night."

"Sounds perfect. Just let me go grab some things and I'll be right over." Tyler smiled at her, and walked into her room.

Skai wasn't really sure about how to feel having her stay over tonight. But she didn't feel like being alone either. She got inside and took off her shoes. Walking into the bathroom, looking at herself. "Snap out of it Skai. You can't keep letting these feelings take over you," she said to herself. After that was said, she splashed some water on her face, taking all her make up off. She slid her shorts down, and walked over to her bed. She grabbed her Mac laptop and turned Netflix on, waiting for Tyler to come walking through her door.

5 minutes passed, and as expected, Tyler walked in the door. She sat her stuff down in a corner and walked over to Skai's bed.

"So what movie are we watching?" She asked Skai.

"Lost and Delirious."

"Ooooo, sounds interesting. What is it about?"

"Well we have to watch it and find out, silly." Skai said bumping her shoulder into Tyler's.

They both laughed and got under the covers. They laid back, their legs and shoulders touching. Skai couldn't keep interest in the movie, she was so focused on their bodies touching. But she tried to really listen and watch the movie.

Both lost in the movie, they listened..

"Liar! Liar, Liar, Liar! You've all got your heads up your assholes because love is. It just is and nothing you can say can make it go away because it is the point of why we are here, it is the highest point and once you are up there, looking down on everyone else, you're there forever. Because if you move, right, you fall. You fall."

Skai's eyes opened wide as she listened to the character, Paulie, scream at her classmates about love. She was amazed at her words, and how deep it all was. Watching her cry and scream.. Simply amazed Skai. She looked over at Tyler, who had a tear rolling down her cheek.

Skai gasped and wrapped her arms around Tyler's neck.

"Why are you crying?" She asked in Tyler's ear.

Tyler was startled and looked at her.

"I'm just touched. I'm fascinated at the love she has for Victoria. Why can't Victoria just say 'screw you all' and be with Paulie? I don't get it. But I do. If someone loved me that much, I'd just melt."

Skai looked at her in awe.

"I know.. If someone loved me like that, I'd never let them go."

Tyler wrapped her arms around Skai's stomach. She stared into Skai's light green eyes. Skai's stomach was being attacked by a million butterflies. Without realizing, she whispered..

"I love you."

Tyler's stomach dropped. She didn't know how to react, her first reaction was to kiss her. She pulled Skai into her, kissing her long and slow. Then she pulled away, looking at her.

"I love you too, Skai."

Skai's heart was smiling, she felt it. She was so overwhelmed by the kiss, she was so happy to even think about what she should say or do next. Then Tyler slowly got on top of Skai and kissed her again, but harder. Tugging at Skai's shirt.

"What's happening? Is this real?" Skai thought to herself, but she was too happy to even care to stop and pinch herself to see if it was real or not.
