Smiling uncontrollably, Skai was running all around her room trying to find things to pack. She had music playing; she was singing and dancing. Then she stopped and laughed at herself.
"Look at me. All happy. I can't believe this is happening." Skai thought to herself. The girl she has wanted forever has finally noticed her in the way she wanted. Why wouldn't she be happy?
Singing along to "Not A Bad Thing" by Justin Timberlake, she was interrupted by a text message.
Skai read the message on her phone:
"I miss you. Can we talk?"
Her stomach dropped, making her feel sick in just two seconds. She quickly got all her things together, turned her phone on silent, and rushed out the door.
