Before you scream pedophilia on me let me explain on how monsters and humans age different:
Humans age by decades. Every ten years we get very different. Our middle age starts around thirty through fifty, right? But let's look at monsters.
Toriel is middle aged and she is well over a hundred years old. Plus, monsters are immortal. They can't die of aging, however they can die of natural causes and by being killed. Thus, the dust. So Sans looks like he is about a teenager in comparasin to monsters like toriel, asgore, and that old turtle dude. Probably within his first hundred years as well.
They're both kids in the standards of their species.
With thst cleared up let's talk about how cute of a pairing it is.
Sans is depressed, having experienced the worst possible things and a genocide run. Naturally, he would feel super happy and connected to frisk when they decide to complete a pacifist run, already forming a good friendship.
Toriel, his best friend (friendzone), asked him to watch over Frisk, so he agrees. But he never expects himself to fall in love with frisk while protecting him. Sure, without Toriel he would have killed them first hand. But after going through a whole pacifist run, he can't help falling in love with frisk.
Plus they have a date too which makes me happy.
