Amber's POV.
After we ate, Belinda took me home. I didn't want to go home but I had college exams to take care of.
I was enrolled in an online college, and it was pretty good. I was more successful than I think I would have been anywhere else. Online college got lonely but it was way better than sitting through lecture after lecture.
Buzz, buzz, buzz. I had received a text.
Belinda:
Hey, you left your sweater at my place. I'll bring it by tomorrow, alright?
Me:
Yeah, that's fine, thanks (:
I put my phone down and logged in to my computer. I checked my e-mail. Nothing important. A message from an old friend of mine popped up and I clicked on it
Dannie Lynn:
Hey!! I was thinking about visiting you in Pennsylvania! Set a time and I'll be there, sis. How have you been? I've been well myself. Did you hear Anna had a kid?! It's a cute little boy! She named him Stevie. Your mom has been messaging me off the hook! She's so lonely without you!
~Dannie
Amber James:
Yes, please come visit, we have so much to catch up on! I've been well, too. And I called it Dannie!! I knew she was gonna have a kid, it was only a matter of time! Is she still with Mark?
~Amber
I sighed and logged in to my school site. I really missed Dannie. She was fun and sweet. She always had my back when things got rough.
Ring, ring, ring.
"Ohh my god," I growled. I just wanted to finish my exams! I picked up the phone. "Hello?"
"AMBER HI!" Ouch, my ears.
"Who is this?"
"IT'S DANNIE, DUMBASS!"
"Thanks," I mumbled.
"Sorry. When should I book my flight??"
"Maybe in a week? I have nothing planned for the weekend." She squealed in excitement.
"Perfect!!"
"Alright, well Dannie, I have to go. I have exams I need to finish."
"Awe.." Disappointment laced her frail petite voice and I felt bad.
"I'm sorry hun, I'll talk to you later, I promise."

Belinda's POV.
"Belinda please come over," Angeline sighed.
"What's wrong?"
"I just miss you is all.. You've been infatuated with Amber and I haven't seen you since the day after you guy's date went wrong.."
"I'm sorry, Angeline, I didn't realize."
"It's been weeks, Belinda." I sighed.
"I'm on my way, alright? We can do whatever you want."
"Thanks," she said with a smile you could practically head through the phone. I hung up and got ready to leave.
"Belinda!" Paulette stood on her porch as I pulled in to her driveway. I got out and she hugged me tightly.
"Can't...breathe.." She let go and kissed my cheeks.
"Sorry!" I smiled and we walked in to her house. "What to do..."
"We could go to the movies, stay here and watch a movie.."
"Let's go to the movies!" She clapped excitedly. She got ready. She wore jeans and a Big Bang Theory T-shirt. She always looked so cute.
"So, the new Purge movie is out. We can see that, Angeline. What do you think?"
"Yes!" She was so excited and I felt bad for not being there for several weeks. Can't fix it now, I thought.
We got popcorn and chose our seats. Two other people were seated, then the movie started.
[Later that night]
"Good night, Angeline," I said before climbing in my car and leaving. The drive home was quiet and sad; I missed my friend already.
I drove home, grabbed Amber's sweater and took off to her house. I walked to her door and rang the doorbell. A perky Amber came to the door and hugged me, then pecked my forehead.
"Thank you," she chimed.
"Yeah." I hugged her and said good night. Then I went home and went to sleep.
What a good day. I sighed as I fell asleep.
