as we landed on the roof, i spotted april and brenda down below. i knew they would freak if they found out i was with leo the whole time and didn't tell them.
"i'm going to have to hide. can't let them know i brought you here." leo said as i nodded in agreement. "but, hey. it was good talking to you."
i smiled and blushed slightly at his comment before he disappeared behind a wall. when april and brenda finally made it up to the roof, i faced them and approached.
"where are they?" april asked as i shrugged.
"i don't know." i lied as brenda rolled her eyes.
"okay! we're here! we didn't bring anyone else with us! so can you come out now?!" brenda yelled before there was a thud and the orange turtle appeared.
"okay! are you april o'neil and eliza and brenda ramsy?!" he asked as we backed away slowly but then got a light shown in our eyes.
"hey! watch where you show that thing, man!" brenda snapped as donnie rambled on about it being us.
"of course it's them, donnie." leo said as he appeared and wrapped his arms around brenda's and my neck. "hey! really glad you three could make. there's someone important you need to meet but first..."
then pillowcases went over our heads.
~
i don't remember much except having the pillowcase ripped off my head. my eyes shut tightly as they adjusted to the light before my eyes went to the mutant in front of us.
my eyes widened when i realized who the mutant was.
"it's been a long time, ladies." he said kindly as i was the first to approach.
"splinter?" was what i heard april say before i heard mumbles from the turtles. i stopped after a bit and waited for permission to come closer. of course, splinter allowed me to and continued to approach with caution.
"sit down, please." he assured as i sat down slowly on the carpet as did april and brenda before splinter spoke.
"you definitely have your father's eyes, april. and you two, eliza and brenda, you two have your brother's smile and eyes." he complimented as tears began to well up in my eyes.
"you've seen my brother?" i asked as splinter nodded. "how?"
"your brother was the one that took care of me. he was the one that watched over me along with brenda while april's father took care of the turtles. you and april always had an interest for the turtles. you basically bonded instantly. now i don't remember a time before living in that laboratory. that fearful night started like any other...." splinter began as the turtles sat down near us, i guess they want to know the story too.
"sacks gave us out injections, april's father made sure our vitals were strong, and as for you three, as always, would provide us with a special treat." i giggled softly as did april and brenda before the story continued.
"after the brothers went to sleep, i heard loud voices. there was the smell of smoke, alarms sounded. your father had discovered the truth behind the man he was working for. he set fire to the lab. his last breath was taken trying to destroy shredder's plan. i was terrified. but then you three appeared. and ushered us to safety. i never had a voice then, but i thank you three now." splinter finished as i nodded, tears brew down my eyes as i did.
"our brother died in that fire, too." i said simply which brought everyone's attention to me and brenda.
"after we saved you guys, april ran to get help while we went back to try and save april's dad and our brother, chris. but it was too late. he was burned badly and he was dead. we went for april's dad, but the fire was roaring in the room, we couldn't even get through. it was no use in trying to get to them then because the fire was burning and we were losing oxygen. that's when i saw the container of your mutation in it. i also knew the truth about what was really going on and i had to get rid of it. i threw it into a burning room but it exploded in there and somehow we may have got your mutation. but it's acting differently with us." i explained as splinter furrowed his eyebrows while stroking his goatee.
"how differently?" he asked as i looked around.
"do you have anything small i could use?" i asked as he pulled out a couple of blocks from behind him.
"perfect!" then i began. with my hands stretched out, my palms glowed a bright red and coming from them was a type of smoke and just like it was with my hands, it began to levitate the blocks.
splinter watched in awe as i concentrated hard on the blocks before my arms crossed paths and the blocks crashed into each other, creating spikes.
"woah! holy-!" i heard the mikey shout as the other blocks went everywhere while the two collided blocks dropped in shattered wooden pieces.
"and that's not all..." i began as splinter nodded for me to continue. i nodded before i looked at raph and smirked.
"um, why she smirking at me?" raph asked before i shifted into him.
"who are you talking about?" i asked in the same deep voice as him. he looked so scared, he literally stood up and screamed. everyone (except splinter of course) began to laugh. i laughed with them before i shifted back into my body.
"what the-what?!" was all he can say before i laughed softly.
"and i can also sense other people's feeling. emotions. like raph. he's feeling confused, a little upset, and, oh wow! now he's just angry." i said all at once as raph glared at me and sat back down next to his brothers.
"but she's not the only one with abilities." brenda said as i nodded to splinter. everyone's attention then went to brenda as she stood up. she nodded to me and i nodded back to her.
"don't freak out." was all she siad before her skin started metal. i heard a high pitch scream and looked back to see the mikey fall over.
"and don't freak out again." she said again before wings erupted from her back. now mikey screamed louder and all i could do was shook my head and chuckle.
"and one more thing..." brenda said before she looked up at the ceiling. i knew what she was doing and i prepared myself. i began to feel the room getting more colder by the second and then snow. i saw snow.
"dude, you can control the weather?! can you make it sunny everyday?!" mikey rambled as brenda rolled her eyes and smirked.
"so, you see, splinter, both brenda and i have been effected by your mutation. it changed us for the better. it gives us one reason to be introverts." i muttered the last part as splinter nodded.
"indeed it has. we shall discuss this later. right now, i need to know who you told about our existence." splinter said getting straight to the point.
"other than me, myself, i, my consciousness, my brain, and my mirror, i haven't told anyone." brenda sassed as i giggled softly.
"that was a good one." she looked over at me and outstretched her arms.
"what? i really did. i looked in the mirror and said,'brenda. girl, you have to calm down. i know you saw 4 mutant turtles, but there's nothing to freak out about.' and guess what? i freaked out anyway! it was weird." brenda finished before i shook my head, laughing. we both took our attention to april as she looked at splinter.
"nobody believed me except sacks. he's the only one that believed me." she said as i looked at splinter. he did not look so happy.
"sacks, just as i feared. sacks is not our friend. he lives under the rule of shredder. shredder practically raised sacks and he will do anything to please his master. even if it means getting to you." splinter stated before april looked at a card.
"oh no."
"oh no what?"
"it's....a tracker."
well, shit.
