---[Shota Aizawa's POV]---
I snapped my head towards the door. Shigaraki stood there, his body tense and the door crumbled to dust at his touch.

A hooded chameleon-like person, who I remembered was Meleoron from Shigaraki's description, and Kurogiri was also behind him, his mist body scattering. Meleoron quickly took a deep breath and disappeared.

Katsumi straightened and looked up, surprised at the sudden intrusion. He took a knife from his jacket and cloned it, making more and more, then throwing them at Shigaraki.

However, I shifted the chair with my body, one of the legs stomping on his foot. He yelled, dropping his knives.

Sometimes the simplest moves can do so much.

Shigaraki ran up to him with incredible speed and punches him in the stomach. Katsumi held his stomach, groaning.

"That was for [Y/N]."

Katsumi was then knocked out by Meleoron who appeared from behind. He fell to the ground, unconscious.

Shigaraki turned to look at [Y/N], then to me. "What did he do to her?"

"He used some kind of drug to put her to sleep, it lasts about 2 hours. He also put some kind of quirk-erasing thing into me. [Y/N] must be starting to-"

As if on cue, she started to shake and whimper. The nightmares were starting for her.

"Kurogiri, take her back to the base," Shigaraki ordered. "And Meleoron." The mist man complied, his left warp gate arm surrounding the shaky [Y/N], carrying her rather than warping her because of her quirk. His other arm surrounded Meleoron and the chameleon vanished into the gate.

"Wait for us outside in a few minutes," Shigaraki added as Kurogiri started moving away with [Y/N] in his arms.

When he disappeared, Shigaraki turned to me and leaned down, close to my face. "As much as I'd want to kill you right now, seeing as you're so helpless," he said dryly, poking a finger on my nose, "you and [Y/N] has a connection, and I wouldn't want to break her heart."

He grabbed the rope that was tying me, turning it to dust.

"My relationship with [Y/N] is none of your concern," I asserted, then turned to the unconscious Katsumi. "He must have some sort of thing to wake her up."

We checked the pockets of the jacket on him. "Oh, they're labeled." Shigaraki held up three large bottles.

"'Erasure', 'Sleep', and 'Anti-'," I read. "Quirk-erasing, sleep drug, and the one to stop the effects early I believe."

Shigaraki nodded.

I found a syringe and filled it with the Anti- stuff. "Shouldn't we test it his out first before-"

"You're the tester for [Y/N]," Shigaraki interrupted me. He stuck the needle in my arm, the liquid going through my system. "Try it now."

I glared at him, trying to activate my quirk. My hair floated up and my eyes started glowing red. It worked. I then looked over to Katsumi with my quirk still activated. He disappeared in front of my eyes.

"He was... a clone?" I turned to Shigaraki. He seemed as surprised as me. I shrugged it off for now.

I grabbed my goggles and scarf from the corner, putting them on. I also found [Y/N]'s phone in the pile, and shoved it in my pocket. I'll give it to her later.

Shigaraki grabbed the bottles and we headed out the door.

"Let's go," Shigaraki said. "Kurogiri's waiting."

I followed him out, since he knew the way. We came to a trapdoor above us, with ladders leading up to it. The rest of the underground was filled with darkness and tables with all kinds of weird liquids and containers.

As we were climbing up, a dark-haired person with patchwork patterns and stitches on his face peered down.

Blue flames suddenly came from above. We both jumped down. The ladders caught on fire quickly, and nearby tables caught on fire.

"I thought there were only 4 members of the group!" I yelled at Shigaraki over the crackling of flames. "And none of them have fire powers!"

"I thought so too!"

We had to get out, and fast. There must be another way out. Smoke filled the underground room, blocking our visions slightly.

"Shigaraki!" I called. I had an idea. "Use your quirk above, on the ceiling! We can dig ourselves up!"

The villain nodded, moving tables out of the way and standing on them to reach the top. He put his hands palms up on the dirt ceiling and it began to crumble away. This room and the above floor weren't too far apart, I'd hope.

The flames were spreading quickly. I climbed up the table with him, then crouched down. "Here, get on my shoulders!"

In a few minutes, he had made a large enough hole for us to go through to the floor above. His quirk was speedy.

I used my scarf to grab ahold of anything that was stable. I tugged, making sure it didn't fall. "Grab on," I said to Shigaraki, offering my arm.

He grabbed it, keeping one finger off as to not accidentally use his quirk on me. I pulled us up to the top. It was a miracle that that worked.

The space between the basement and this floor wasn't too wide, and Shigaraki was able crumble enough dirt away for both of us to fit through. My scarf had grabbed on to a bed post, which was sturdy and stable enough so that I was able to pull both of us up.

Never had I thought I would work together, much less save, a villain in my life before. I pushed my hair back, letting out a breath. When I looked back down the pit, blue flames sputtered from below. It wasn't spreading up, surprisingly.

Shigaraki scratches at his neck, and when he finally stopped he muttered to me, "Thanks."

I nodded. "It was teamwork." I then smiled. Not the creepy, evil-ish smile I give students and villains, but a normal one. "Now, let's go help [Y/N]."
