A few days have passed since [Y/N] woke up. The students were still improvising on their ultimate moves.

Hizashi would help console me at the school, knowing that I was less focused on teaching the students and more on how [Y/N] was doing. I couldn't let that get in my way of teaching, I told myself. I had also helped with Hizashi's patrolling, and it got my mind off [Y/N], at least for a bit. I had told the other teachers about Katsumi, Aiko, and Miki. Hizashi and I had seen Katsumi one time on our patrols, which reminded me of [Y/N] again.

When I visited her, she had gotten a lot better in just a few days.

"Shota!" [Y/N] called when I walked in. I couldn't believe my ears that she was talking, normally.

"[Y/N]," I breathed. "I missed your voice."

She laughed.

"And your laugh," I added.

"Oh, Shota. I missed you."

I sat down next to her. "How are you feeling?"

"Apart from feeling like I slept for a whole week straight, then having a terrible nightmare, then finding out that I actually did sleep for weeks straight, and having temporary memory loss, I feel great!"

I chuckled, then kissed her. Oh, how I missed the feeling of her soft lips. We had to break apart for air, and I smiled softly at her.

"The students were worried about you."

"Really? How are they holding up?" Then she suddenly remembered something. "What happened at the camp? Were you guys attacked? Where's Tomura?"

I held up my hand, stopping the stream of questions. I decided to explain everything. The attack, All For One and All Might's battle, Toshinori retiring as number 1 hero, and Tomura visiting her.

She seemed to be really upset about the attack, and she was worried about Toshinori.

"Tomura didn't want me to know...." She looked down. "I wanted to warn you guys about the attack, but...."

"It's the thought that counts," I consoled. "I'm sure Tomura had a reason. He even visited you and apologized."

"That's not like Tomura at all."

"I know. He said he was sorry that he didn't worry about you enough."

[Y/N] sighed. "I'm just glad you're all okay. I didn't get to know All For One much, all I know is that he's special to Tomura. And Toshinori... I didn't like him at first, but I guess I found that he isn't one of those heroes."

"I'm glad you're okay," I said simply. "Just don't be so rash next time when you're being a hero."

---[Reader's POV]---

Waking up from a coma isn't the best experience in the world. Waking up and not recognizing the love of my life was not something I appreciated on myself.

"The doctor explained a lot about my coma," I started. "They said they couldn't use their healing quirks on me. It was because of my quirk...."

Shota looked at me with warm eyes. "Don't say you're a hassle. Even if there wasn't a healing quirk to help, you're still alive, and that's what matters."

I looked up at him, admiring his positive side, even if it didn't seem like it. His hair was in messy bun, a few strands covering his face. I leaned up to kiss him again, appreciating what he's done for me for so long. "Thanks, Shota," I said as we broke apart. "I'm...."

"You're not useless."

The door suddenly opened, revealing Tomura and Meleoron. They both stared at me, up and talking to Shota.

"I guess... I'll come back after you two are... finished," Tomura said slowly. He started to walk out again, his eyes overcast.

"Wait!" I called. I wanted to talk to him.

He looked over his shoulders. Seeing me pleading for him to come, he walked up to me, grabbing another chair to sit down. Meleoron stood by, keeping silent.

"What'd you want?" I asked him.

"I just wanted to check on you," Tomura replied. "I'm glad to see you awake and talking."

"Yeah...." I hesitated. "Why'd you keep it from me? Your plan?"

"I didn't want you to give away the plan."

"I... I guess you were right. I would have given it away," I pushed my hair back out of stress. I looked to Shota. "I care too much about the students.... The line between heroes and villains is just not wide enough for me to stay in between, huh?"

"Just stay wherever you're happy," Tomura suggested. "That's what I did." He stood up, then started walking out. "See you around, I guess."

Meleoron nodded at me, smiling a bit. Then he followed Tomura, lending him a hand at getting out unnoticed.

That left me alone with Shota again, and we talked for a bit before the doctor, Motoki, suggested that I should rest. However, when he came in, Shota had fallen asleep, his head by the bedside. He had been visiting nonstop for the past few weeks and haven't gotten enough sleep as he did before.

Motoki allowed him to stay, and a nurse later came in to give me dinner. It was calm and quiet as I ate, and then soft snores from Shota made me giggle a bit.

I kissed him on the forehead, impatient to leave the hospital.
