Chapter 2

After you got home you smiled and maybe even blushed a little. "Mom?!" you yelled as she came from the kitchen into the dining room. "Hey y/n how was school?" she asked while giving you a quick hug. "It was fine, uhm... there was this boy who showed me around today, he's really nice." you say to her, "And by the look on your face he's also really cute." she said with a small laugh "A-alright mom, I'm gonna go start my homework." you said to her while walking up the stairs. "After your done, wash up dinner will be ready soon!!" she yelled up the stairs. After you finish dinner you gave your mom a hug then went to bed. The last thing you could remember before dozing off was Hiro Hamada...

The next morning you got up and went to the bathroom to brush your teeth. You don't really like make up so you just put on some Mascara and Lip Stick. After you were done in the bathroom you came into your room to look for a cute outfit to wear, subconsciously you wanted to look cute for Hiro. You pick out these black ripped jeans and a crop top hoodie with the word "savage" on it. You grab your book bag and head downstairs to where your mom is cooking breakfast. "Good morning." you say to her sitting at the table. "Good morning." she said back to you, "You look cute, it wouldn't happen to be for that boy from yesterday would it?" she said in a teasing tone "Oh my gosh mom!! Please stop." you say with a little laugh. "Listen, I just want you to know that you can have whatever friends you want over here. I'm gonna be leaving back out  tonight when you get home and I don't want you to get bored." she says to you. "Wait, your saying I could have him over?" you say a little surprised "Yea but I'd have to meet him before I go back to work." she says sounding really cool about everything "Oh, ok. I'll ask if he want's to come over tonight." you say to her while getting up. By time you guys are finished talking it's time for you to go "Bye mom, love you!" you yell after putting your shoes on and grabbing your keys. You meet up with Hiro at the bus stop, "Hey!" he says to you with a smile on his face "Hey." you say with a smile on yours as well. "So are you ready to resume your classes today?" you ask him while waiting for the bus. "I guess so, it's kind of sad I won't be with you in every class, but we can still eat lunch together and we're partners in S.T.E.M." he says as the bus pulls up "Your right we are." you say to him. The whole bus ride you're kind of looking at him, as he looks out the window. Soon the bus came to a stop and you two got off to go into school. You went to your locker and his was across the hall from you. After closing your locker you turn around to see a girl walk up to Hiro. She looks really pretty and she seems nice and they hug. In your head your thinking 'Maybe that's his girlfriend. Maybe what he said yesterday was just that... words' You walk away to go to your class room for math. Soon the same girl comes in and it turns out her name is Sophie. She sat next to you in class, "Hi, I'm Sophie, what's your name?" she asked holding out her hand, "Hi, I'm y/n." you say shyly while shaking her hand. "Were you the girl Hiro walked around school yesterday?" she asked after letting go, "Uhm, yea. He's really nice." you say to her "Yea." she says soon the class starts. You got called on a couple times and whenever you answered the question, everyone turned to look at you which made you a little nervous and you felt your face get hot. After class was over you made your way to English class, it was kind of boring but it went by fast. You were happy afterwards because you knew you'd be seeing Hiro. When you got to the lunch room you sat at a table and not long after Hiro sat down with you. "Hey." he says while sitting down. "Hey, I wanted to ask you something." you say to him. "Sure go ahead, "I--" you were cut off by Sophie sitting down at the table, "Hey Hiro, Hey y/n." she says "Hi." you say back to her not knowing if she knew she just cut you off or not. "You two know each other?" Hiro says looking a little puzzled. "Yea... we have Math class together." you say to him. "Oh, cool. You wanted to ask me something y/n?" he says while they both look at you "No, I forgot but I have a good feeling I'll remember later." you say to him lying, you knew what you wanted to ask him but you didn't wanna ask him in front of Sophie just in case that was his girlfriend. Soon lunch was over and you and Hiro walked to class together. You were sitting there for a while then... "Are you ok?" he asked surprising you. "Hm? Oh yea I'm fine, why?" you said to him pretending to be confused "You haven't really said anything to me all day." he said sounding a little upset "Oh I'm sorry I've just been thinking I guess." you said to him. "Well if you ever need to you can talk to me." he said looking really genuine. Class was over before you know it and then you had History class. That was really boring and it seem like it last forever. Finally it was over and you met Hiro at the bus stop. Since Sophies' house was walking distance she just walked home. "Bye guys!" she said waving at Hiro and I. Soon we got on the bus and of course we sat next to each other. "So do you remember that thing you wanted to ask me?" he asked looking at me. "Oh, you remember that... I didn't think you would." you said looking down. "I'm smarter than you think." he says "No, I-I didn't mean it like that I just mean--" you said before he cute you off "Y/n relax, I was just kidding." he says putting his hand on your leg. "Right I-I knew that," you said looking at his hand. Once he moved you finally asked him. "Do you wanna come to my place tonight? My mom is going back to work after I get home and I don't really wanna be by myself." you say to him hoping you don't sound desperate. "Sure I'd be happy to." When the bus stops you both walk to your house while he's texting his Aunt telling her that he's gonna be at your house. Once you get home you unlock the door and you see your mom getting her stuff to go back to work. "Hey mom." you say while giving her a hug. "Hey sweetie, is this the guy you were--" you cut her off before she could finish "Mom!! This is Hiro, Hiro Hamada." you say to her hoping he didn't hear what your mom was saying. "Hi, it's nice to meet you Hiro." she says to him "It's nice to meet you too." he says back after that she gives me money for food and leaves. "So..." you say to him nervous. I mean your in the house alone with a guy you think you like and you guys could do anything. "Did you really forget what you wanted to ask me at lunch or did you just not wanna ask?" he said as you both walked upstairs to your room. "I uhm..." you said trying to avoid the question. "C'mon." he said to you as you walked into the room, you sat on your bed and he sat at your desk. "Is Sophie your girlfriend?" you ask him avoiding eye contact. "Oh that, no she's not my girlfriend we've been good friends for a long time." he says reassuring you. "Oh..." you say feeling stupid. "Is that what you were worried about?" He says coming to sit next to you on the bed. "What? No I..." you said knowing that it was definitely NOT believable. "Right ok." he says sarcastically "Hey could you help me with this S.T.E.M. work?" you say trying to change the subject "Yea." he says. After a while of him helping you with the work you guys order pizza, when it arrives you sit on the couch and eat afterwards you guys start watching T.V. You were laughing and out of nowhere he says to you "You have a cute laugh." you start to blush, "Thanks." you say looking up at him. You two lean in closer, and he closes the last inches between your face and kisses you. You kiss and he leans in more to make it last longer. You guys finally break the kiss, "Uhm right so I think I-I got to head home before it gets dark." He says getting up, "R-right, yea my mom should be here in about 10 minutes anyway." you say to him as he get's his stuff together. "Bye I'll see you tomorrow." he says to you "Bye." you say before closing the door. A little while later your mom comes in and you let her get in the shower first since she's had a long day and you get in after, then go to sleep.
