Chapter 5

The next morning you wake up and it's finally Friday. You and Hiro finished your project earlier than you thought. You see a text from Hiro saying that his aunt gave him a ride to school because she had to go that way anyway. So Hiro was going to be at school before you. You get ready to leave and your mom is still sleeping so you don't wake her. You head for the bust stop and wait for the bus. Soon it comes down the street and you hop on. Once you get to the school you look for Hiro and you turn a corner and see a girl kissing him. You turn back around quickly and go to class. You decided that you would try to forget about it and focus. The classes go by quick and you don't have much work since it's Friday. When you go to lunch you sit quietly until Hiro comes over, "Hey." he says to you as you pretend not to hear him. "Y/n." he says to you "Are you ok?" he asks, "Yup, fine." you say with a hint of attitude in your voice. "Oh, uhm ok." Hiro says a little confused on why your upset. You guys just sit there in silence until you have to go to S.T.E.M. class. Since you guys finished your project all you had to do was confirm that to the teacher and her class would be a free period for you. You and Hiro walk up to her desk and tell her that the project is finished and stuff. After that's all done you leave out of the class room and Hiro chases after you. "Hey y/n what's wrong? I know somethings wrong." he says stopping you from walking. "I saw you ok! I saw you and that girl kiss and I thought you were different, the only reason I never kissed anyone is because I was afraid they'd do something like this! But I kissed you because I thought you wouldn't do this to me! Now I know it was a mistake. I can't believe I trusted you." you said to him as tears streamed down your face. "Y/n I--" he says before you cut him off "You know what it doesn't even matter I guess we were never together anyway so you can do what you want." you say to him. He puts his hands on your shoulders, but you push them off and run away because you knew you were about to start crying even more. A little while later you go to your history class and the whole time your waiting for it to be over because you just wanna go home. Finally it's over and you go outside to wait for the bus, you don't stand where you usually do because Hiro's already standing there. When you guys get on the bus you sit in the front and he sits towards the back where you guys usually sit. The whole time you don't say anything to him, or even look in his direction. When the bus finally gets to your stop you get off and start walking home. Hiro gets off a little after you, "Y/n wait can I talk to you?!" he says yelling down the street you ignore him and he just leave it alone and starts walking home. You finally get to your house and you see your mom sitting at the couch. "Hey." you say to her walking over and giving her a hug. "Hey. How was your day?" she asked you "Fine." you say lying as you walk up the stairs. Since you didn't have any home work you got in the shower as soon as you got to your room and when you get out your really tired so you just want to sleep. "The food's read!" your mom yells up the stairs. "I'm not really hungry." you say to her, lying again. You just don't feel like eating at the moment, you also didn't lunch. Hiro is constantly texting and calling you but you don't answer. You turn your phone facing down and you just Lay there. You're thinking about Hiro and you feel yourself about to cry. You realize you thinking about it is only going to make it worse so you try to forget about it and you finally go to sleep.
