Chapter 8

As Hiro gets his clothes from his drawers you look around his room. "You have a lot of science awards." you say to him "Yea, they came from science fairs and S.T.E.M. club," he says before pausing, "I... stopped doing them for a while though." he says to you. "Why?" you ask him, turning around. "My brother used to help me with them, I stopped after he went to college. It was kind of our thing..." he says sound a little sad. "Oh, Hiro I'm so sorry." you say to him walking up behind him and giving him a hug. "It's ok, he's definitely coming back." he says while turning around and hugging you back. After he's finished getting his clothes you leaving and go around the corner to your house. You both go up stairs and put his stuff in your room. "Are you ok with sleeping in here again or would you rather sleep downstairs?" you ask him. "Uhm... I think I'd rather sleep up here." he says with a smile on his face. "O-Kay... we just have to tell my mom that you slept downstairs cause I'm not sure she'd be totally fine with us sleeping in the same." you say to him. "Did you want to go to that party?" he asks you, surprisingly "Oh uhm, sure... I don't wanna go wearing this though, I was in school with this and... yea" you say to him as you start to look through your drawers and your closet. "Girls." Hiro says under his breath. "What was that?" you ask him already knowing what he said. "N-nothing." he says with a small "Mhm." you say throwing a shirt at him. You pick up a dress... "I think you'd look cute in that." he says to you, "I-I mean n-nice, you'd look nice." he says stuttering and blushing. "Uhm thanks." you say starting to blush as well.  You go into the bathroom to put on your dress. "You look nice." Hiro says as you walk out of the bathroom. "Thanks." you say starting to blush a little. "Are you ready to go?" you ask trying to hide the redness in your face, "Yea." he says as you both leave out of your room and head downstairs. "She sent me the address and it isn't far from here." you say to him. "Cool." he says as you both walk out of the door.

Soon you arrive at the party, there are people out side with drinks and making out, but you and Hiro keep walking. Once you get inside you see Sophie and she's really drunk. "Hey are you ok?" Hiro asks her, "I'm totallly fine dude. Get on my level bro." she says slurring. "Ok, maybe you should slow down with the drinks." Hiro says to her taking the drink from her hand. 'Or Stop.' you say in your head. She grabs it back, "I'm fine..." she says as she walks away. "So what do you want to do y/n?" Hiro asks you, "Uhm," you look around, "They're playing pool maybe we can go play too." you say to him. "Sure." he says. You and Hiro walk over to the people playing pool. There are two dudes there and they're both drunk. "Hey cutie, what you doing hanging around with this loser? Why don't you have some fun with us?'' they saying walking around the pool table towards you. "No, I'm fine. C-can we play with you guys?" you ask them backing away and moving closer to Hiro to the point where you bump into him. "Yea, of course, you and your little boyfriend can play." they say to you. "Oh, he's not exactly my boyfriend but ok." you say as one of them gives you a stick and the other gives Hiro one. They re-set all of the balls as you and Hiro stand there. "You can break, beautiful." one of the boys say to you. "Uhm... O-kay..." you say nervously as you walk to the table and position your stick. "Wait, your doing it wrong." one of the boys say to you. He walks up behind you and bends over above you. He pulls your hips towards him and once you feel that you pull away. "Hey! Don't do that!" Hiro yells at him. "What do you care she's not your girlfriend. Ooh are you mad I got to her before you could?" he says teasingly. Hiro approaches to punch him, "No! It's not worth it," you say stopping him, "He's not worth it." you say looking up at him. "Let's go." Hiro says as you walk over to a table with drinks and snacks on it. "Do you want anything?" he asks you. "Uhm it doesn't really matter, I'm gonna go find a bathroom." you say to him, "Ok." he says as looks for something for you both to drink. You start walking upstairs, and you see the two boys looking at you. You don't think anything of it and turn around to keep walking. Your in the bathroom washing your hands and when you come out you see the two boys from the pool table standing there. "Uhm...hi?" you say to them about to walk past, but the boy who grabbed you before stops you, "Where your little boy toy?" he asks you. "He's not a toy. He's my friend but I'm sure you wouldn't know what that is." you say to him. "Ooh feisty." he says with a laugh looking at his friend. They both grab you and take you into a room and throw you onto a bed. "Please just let me go." you say to them hoping a they aren't going to do what you were thinking. "Oh, not so much talk now." one of them say. The other friend leaves the room and your left alone with the one who grabbed you at the pool table. "P-please don't, I'm sorry." you say to him backing up into the head board with stops you from moving. "Oh, it's ok. We're gonna have fun, I promise." he says as he starts to climb onto the bed. He touches your leg but you pull it away fast. He pulls your legs so that your laying on the bed and he holds your hands together above your head. He kisses you and you pull away. With the other hand he slides it down the side of your body and moves it towards your inner thigh. "P-please... no." you say to him as your voice cracks and tears fill your eyes. He covers you mouth as he reaches your underwear. You try pushing him off but you can't. As he starts touching you, you start to cry. He moves his hand and starts unbuckling his pants you try to move but he stops you. Before you know it Hiro busts into the room. He sees what's going on and he grabs the boy and throws him off of you, they start to fight and Hiro ends with punching him in the face. The guy leaves out of the room not wanting to fight anymore. "I'm so sorry y/n." he says walking over to you and helping you off of the bed. "I-I wanna... go home." you say to you say in between cries. "Come on." he says as you both walk out of the room.

You guys finally get home and you give Hiro the keys to open the door. He walks you up to your room. "Are you ok?" he asks you as you sit on your bed. "I uhm... I need to shower. I feel dirty." you say to him with tears in your eyes. "Ok," Hiro says to you as your about to get up, "I'll get your clothes for you." he says walking over to your drawer. He pulls out some pajama pants and a t-shirt. You walk into the bathroom and get in the shower. Once your out you get your clothes on and walk into your room. "Y-You can get in now..." you say to him. "I'll be fast, I promise." he says as he goes into the bathroom. Soon he comes out dressed and you sitting on your bed with your knees to your chest. He walks out and sits next to you and starts to rub your back. You jump moving forward. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-" he says before you cut him off "No, it's fine. You didn't do anything." you say to him as he starts to look down. "I'm sorry. I was supposed to look after you tonight and I failed." You look up seeing that his eyes are filled with tears. You hug him, "It's not your fault. You didn't do those things to me, you helped me. Thank you." you say as he looks up at you. He kisses you, you two fall back and start kissing more passionately. "No. No!" you say not realizing it. "I-I'm sorry, I can't." you say running downstairs. You sit on the couch and you start crying. "Y/n?" Hiro says as he walks down the steps. He stops when he get's to the bottom when he sees you crying, he rushes over and sits next to you, but not too close. "I'm sorry I freaked out." you say with tears streaming down your face." you say to him. "It's ok, I understand and I won't do anything anymore. I'll sleep down here tonight... and any other night you need me to." he says to you. You start wiping your face and stand up. Once you start walking up stairs Hiro follows you. You go into your room, "I still have to get you covers." you say turning around about to leave out of the room, "It's fine I'll get them. They're in the hallway closet right?" he asks you, "Yes." you say to him as you climb into bed. He tucks you in and then he leaves out.
