---Lyn's POV---
I somehow woke up in my bed this morning. I guess I was sleepwalking last night and somehow ended up here. Anyway, I woke up, took a shower, and walked into the kitchen to go get my keys and meet Mallory and Gianna at Starbucks for some coffee.
As soon as I went into the kitchen I saw Jake and our eyes locked for about thirty seconds. God, I loved his greenish blue eyes.
"Uh... sorry." I said, "I am going to meet my friends at Starbucks. Do you want anything?"
"No, I'm good. But thanks." Jake said holding up a coffee mug in his hands.
"Okay well, I'll be back later," I said and then walked out of the door before he could say anything else to me.
---Jake's POV---
Lyn walked into the kitchen wearing tight jeans and a cute blue and white t-shirt. I was hoping that she wouldn't say anything about last night because I didn't want to have to explain anything, but luckily she didn't. I want to keep what happened last night a secret. I didn't really want anyone to know that I started to get feelings for Lyn.
After she left I got dressed, took a shower, and went over to Bryce's house. On the way there I decided that I was going to tell Bryce about my little secret because he was my best friend and I didn't want to keep anything from him.
Knock Knock Knock
"Hey your finally here." Byrce said, "Come on in."
I stepped into Bryce's house and then told him about everything that happened last night, and about my crush. I wasn't really sure why this bothered me so much but for some reason it just did.
"Hey man if you like her then you should ask her to come to the party that I'm throwing at my place on September 15, it's on a Saturday," Bryce said with a smile on his face.
"Good idea, I will ask her when she gets back later," I said just thinking about Lyn.
---Lyn's POV---
I pulled up at Starbucks and immediately got out because the line was short. As soon as I ordered I heard Mallory and Gianna walking in and laughing together.
"Hey!" Mallory shouted from the entrance of the store.
"What's up, guys?!" I asked excitedly as they came closer to where I was.
"Not much," said Mallory.
"Why are you so happy?" Gianna asked with a concerned smile on her face.
"Oh...nothing," I said with excitement in my voice.
They both looked at me and smiled, then they went up and ordered their coffees. A short time later after we all had our coffees they came and sat on both sides of me, Mallory on my right and Gianna on my left.
"Okay happy girl, spill it," Mallory said with a laugh.
"Yeah. I know something is up with you. You are usually never a morning person and all of a sudden you're acting like a hot guy just kissed you or something. Wait a second... DID JAKE KISS YOU?!" Gianna said.
"No, but we stared at each other for a good thirty seconds," I said with a huge smile on my face.
"Wooooowwww." Mallory said sarcastically, "I thought you would have done more by now."
At that moment we all started laughing so hard that Gianna shot coffee out of her nose. Then that caused us to only laugh more. We laughed like this for a good five minutes. After that, we all finished our coffees and headed back to the dorm.
