We watched TV and then I fell asleep on the couch, only to get woken up two hours later by Jake.
"Hey, it's time for you to go to practice," he said kneeling in front of me with a sweet look on his face.
Shit, it was time for volleyball.
"Thanks," I said and then I got up and got ready for practice.
I didn't want to go. My hand hurt, my body is sore, and I am still shaken by the incident with Cayden. But I don't have a freaking choice.
Just then Gianna texted me:
G- "Hey I'm picking u up and taking you to and from practice tonight, be ready"
Me- "I'm ready. Meet me in the hall"
G- "K"
I then met Gianna in the hall and we went to practice. Mallory was sick though so she didn't go. And on the way, I filled Gianna in with everything that happened today, but I left out the true story of my hand.
"You've literally gone through Hell today." She said
"Tell me about it," I said and then we got to practice.
---Jake's POV---
-I woke Lyn up and she went to practice, Gianna took her. I only know this because I saw Lyn leave and Gianna was in the hallway yelling at Lyn to get ready. After she left I got ready for lacrosse practice and got picked up by Bryce and some of the other guys.
The thought of Lyn crying stayed in my head though. Her tough self, crying because some guy hurt her. What a dick.
After 10 minutes Bryce finally arrived and I left for practice.
"Hey, wtf happened to Lyn today?" he asked as soon as I got into the car.
"Fucking Cayden happened. Wait, how did you know about this?" I asked
"Caleb told me. Anyway is she okay?"
"Yea, she's tough."
Now the thought of Lyn really wouldn't get out of my head. God, why does she have to be so damn great?
Just then we arrived at practice.
---Lyn's POV---
I had the best practice of my life tonight. I kicked ass and even though my hand hurt I still did my best.
"Rider, let's go," Gianna shouted from the other side of the gym holding up her keys.
We then got in the car and drove back to the dorm listening to the radio at full blast the whole time.
"Seeya tomorrow," Gianna said
"Thanks for the ride," I said
"Anytime," Gianna said and then we both went into our dorm rooms.
I went inside of my room and then took a nice hot shower and got dinner out of the freezer, pizza rolls.
A few minutes later Jake walked in right as I was putting the pizza rolls into the over.
"Hi!" I said cheerfully, "How was practice?"
"Good."
"Hey, I'm making dinner. Go take a shower and it will be done when you come out."
"Okay," he said and then went to take a shower.
