My Apple's Still Blooming

The long journey ahead

(Yeah, I know, I know. You were expecting another AppleBloom chapter, since the chapters go AppleBloom to Applejack, then back to AppleBloom. But this is another Mane six chapter.)

Twilight Sparkle took out her map. "So, what we'll want to do is, first we'll pass through Unicorn Range, and that'll take us about one day. Then we'll be in Ghastly gorge, which should take us about seven hours to walk through. But then we have to pass through the Frozen North, which will take us two days, since we will have to stop and rest a lot, because of extreme weather. Once we're in Quentosa, it'll take us a day to get to Timbucktwo. So, here's the plan. When we get through unicorn range, Everyone will scatter to find sticks to make a fire. Then we'll camp under a tree. After that, Rainbow Dash will scout Ghastly Gorge in the morning to make sure nothing will be in our way. Once we get the all good signal, we pass tgrough to the frozen north, where everypony will make sure to dress warmly to get us through the cold. Okay?"

Pinkie Pie was the only one to answer. "Ready!" she screamed. Rainbow Dash stifled a laugh. So did Applejack. "That.... that was a lot 'o' talkin' Twilight! Hah!" Twilight rolled her eyes. "Let's just get moving." she said, and they began to walk to unicorn range.

"I zoned out when I heard the words 'So, what we'll want to do is' and then I was, like, asleep!" Rainbow Dash laughed as they left. "Those were the first words I even said!" Twilight responded. "Well, duh." Rainbow Dash said, giggling. Twilight rolled her eyes.

"I know what I'm doing. I had myself scanned, and I have an IQ of 1,000." she argued. "Well, I remember my parents saying I had an IQ of 265!" Rainbow Dash said. "That's barely anything compared to mine!" Twilight yelled. "I don't know what you guys are talking about, but I've got 25!" Pinkie said, hopping up to them.

It was Twilight's turn to laugh. "Pinkie, we were talking about IQ. You just said you had an IQ of 25!" she said, giggling. Pinkie Pie smiled and laughed along with Twilight. "Well, I'm not that far off! How much IW does an orange have?" Pinkie asked. "It's IQ, Pinkie, not IW. And an orange has an IQ of 0." Twilight explained.

"Oh, well then! That's my IW! Mrs. Cake said I have the IW of an orange!" Pinkie said, bouncing away happily. "Its IQ, Pinkie Pie! Silly po- Oh, she's gone." Rarity walked over. "Would you mind being a little quieter? Spike is trying to sleep." she said.

"Where's he sleeping?" Twilight asked. Rarity nudged her head in the direction of Fluttershy, who had emptied her left part of her saddlebag into her right side, and was keeping Spike in the Right side. Fluttershy saw Twilight and wakked over.

"Oh, you don't mind, do you? He kept yawning and tripping over his own feet." She said. Twilight smiled. "Its alright, Fluttershy. Oh, wait, I forgot. Here's his blanket." she said, and pulled out the blue quilt. Fluttershy smiled. "Thank you!" she put it on top of the sleeping dragon.

"Okay, gals. Here's the interway between Ghastly gorge and Unicorn range. We better set up camp." AJ said, trotting off to gather sticks for the fire. "Rarity, we need someone to stay here. Would you-" "Yes! Please! I need a break! I'm all sweaty from walking all day, and I can't bear to go into the wodds to get bugs crawling on me!" Rarity cut off Twilight.

"Oh, well, okay! Thank you! We'll be back before you know it!" Twilight said, trotting off with Fluttershy to get Firewood.
