Yugi's POV

Well after that little detour we had we finally made it to my Grandpa's. I told my Grandpa that I was bringing someone special today and he was super excited to hear that. It makes me happy that Yami was so on board to meeting my Grandpa. I know we have only been together for a few days, but it feels like I have been with him for so much longer. I also feel like I have known him my entire life. I have never met anyone like Yami.. So incredibly romantic, caring, loving, smart, humble and all of the above. I know I will learn things about him that may annoy me, but that's what love is. You love the perfections and the flaws. I can't help but stare at this handsome man..

"Yugi, we're here." I finally snapped out of it once he said we had made it to my Grandpa's. I couldn't help but smile at him. He smiled back and kissed my cheek. I blushed once he did that. I love it when he randomly kisses my cheek like that. It makes me feel so loved and incredibly happy. I have never been this happy.. I actually didn't think love would ever come my way. I finally got out of the car and he grabbed my hand. We walked to the door and I was really nervous because I have never brought a guy to meet my Grandpa. This was a huge deal for me... Yami could sense my nervousness and he held my hand tight letting me know that everything is going to be okay.

"Well are you ready to meet my Grandpa?" I asked Yami giving him a small wink. Then he chuckled and said.. "I am, but just to be fair I have never met someone's parents or anything. If I say too much to not enough let me know." he smirked at me and I let out a little giggle. It's cute that he's nervous. We finally get to the door and I ring the doorbell. I hear him yelling "I'M COMING!" from upstairs. I couldn't help but laugh because he does this every time I come to visit him. Then he finally opens the door and he couldn't help but smile. That made my heart feel good, knowing that he was happy for me.

"Hello Mr.Moto, I am Yami." he introduced himself so formal and he shook my Grandpa's hand. My Grandpa then shook his hand and looked at me with a huge grin.

"Nice to meet you Yami, but call me Grandpa, Mr.Moto is my dad." he said jokingly and we laughed at him. My Grandpa is a hoot. He is anything but ordinary. After that we walked inside and sat in the living room and my Grandpa had made some tea for us. He finally asked me who Yami was and I stuttered at first.. Go me. Haha.

"He'sss myy boyfrieennd. He is my boyfriend." I said with a smile and Yami then rubbed his hand on my knee. I was so embarrassed from stuttering. I could feel a small blush forming on my cheeks..

"Well my boy I am so happy for you. I am glad you brought this gentleman to meet me. When did this happen and how did you both meet?" he asked while looking at me while I was drinking my tea and of course I coughed while he asked this question.. I am so nervous and I have no idea why.. When Yami saw that I was struggling he answered for me.

"We have been together for only a few days and we actually met at sports bar. When I saw Yugi walk in that night with his friends I knew I had to get to know him. There was just something different about him and I knew I had to figure out what it was. I was in love with him before I knew his name. It was honestly love at first sight. Your grandson is amazing in every way and you did an incredible job making him into the man he is today. I promise to treat him as he should and make him incredibly happy." he then smiled at me I blushed when he said that. It means so much that he actually said that to my Grandpa. I could see he approved of Yami. That made me so happy. I can see the happiness in his eyes for me.

"Well Yami, I can see my little Yugi is in great hands. I am so happy he met someone like you. I only want the best for him and you're so much more but I am so happy for that. He deserves the world and I believe you can give him the world. Thank you for saying that and I know you will take care of him like you say." I can see that old man of mine eyes tear up a bit. He is so happy for me.. I have honestly met someone incredibly amazing.
