Yugi's POV

The weekend was coming to an end, but it was the start of a new beginning for the both of us. I can't believe I had been with him from the beginning and neither of us realized it. I am just glad that everything had fallen into place like they had. It means so much more to me. I am happy I am with the love of my life finally. It's been a rocky road, but it was worth waiting for my Yami. I look over to Yami next to me in my bed and I couldn't help but smile. Last night was magical and I am ready to have this forever. I can't imagine my life without him again. I would be lost and incomplete without him. I look at the clock and it's 8:00am and I hear Grandpa down stairs. I decide to go spend sometime with him while Yami is still asleep. I grab my night robe and head down stairs. I see that Grandpa is making waffles, eggs and bacon. I missed this and I missed him. I need to start seeing him more often I thought to myself. 

"What's going on my boy?" Grandpa said with a smile while he was flipping the waffles over.

"Oh nothing much, I just wanted to spend some one on one with you before Yami woke up.  Also, this smells delicious. I missed this and I have also missed you terribly. I know we talk on the phone or send letters. It's just not the same.." I said while I looked down the the floor and then I felt his stubby hands pick up my face and simply smiled at me.

"I know my son, it's not the same. Just know that I know you do what you can to see me and make time for me. I know I am all you have, but you're also all I have. I want you to be happy and safe for when that time does come when I am no longer around. I still have plenty of time, but my time won't end until I know my beloved grandson is taken care of." I got teary eyed when he told me that. We don't really have talks like this but when we do it hits the heart. I would be lost without him and I am blessed to have him raise me and treat as I was really his son. 

"I love you my boy." he said as he ruffled my hair and started laughing. I looked at him and stuck my tongue out because he knows how much that bothers me. I let it slide this time though.

"I love you too Grandpa." I looked at him and saw the biggest smile on his face. That is something that always makes me feel at ease. Knowing that he is happy and that he loves me when I see that smile on his face. 

"Yugi, I feel like I know Yami from somewhere. Like I know you both have just met, but I feel like I know him. Do I know him?" I wanted to tell him, but I don't want to confuse him. Not today of course, maybe another time. I need to tell Yami this. 

"Uhh I don't know Grandpa. He may just have a familiar face or personality. I would know if you knew him since you've met all of my friends." I nervously chuckled and hoped he didn't catch me lying. I am a terrible liar. I squirmed in my seat hoping he didn't notice..

"Ugh yeah you're right. I am just a crazy old man." he sighed as he walked away getting the rest of the breakfast and setting them on plates. 

"Why don't you go wake up Yami, it's almost ready! I hope he likes this!" he was excited about cooking and treating Yami as well. He loves when he gets complimented on his cooking. He's an amazing cook. I shook my head and smiled. I walked up the stairs and I then walked into my room. I looked at my bed and Yami was still sound asleep. I went over to him and snuggled against his neck and he smiled. I then kissed his neck and then his crimson eyes widened and then that smirked appeared. I then kissed his lips and told him that breakfast was ready and then he says...

"Mmmm if this is breakfast then I can get used to this." he said very seductively. I smiled and shook my head at him. I grabbed his hand and then rolled eyes at him. Then Yami being Yami pouted like a little kid. I simply just laugh at him and drag him downstairs.
