JACKSON POV:
So, we get to dinner and it's a really cute place with a good menu. Dylan keeps looking up from his menu and staring at me and I'm just gonna pretend not to notice. I mean, it probably doesn't mean what I hope it means so I'm not gonna think about it. The waitress comes up to us and asks us what we want. We both order and she leaves.
D: So, this looks like a nice place.
J: Yeah, let's just hope the food is good.
D: So, how have you been? What have you been doing here while I was gone?
J: Well, spent an abnormal amount of time with Athena and I've been talking with a lot of friends and stuff.
D: Cool.
J: Um, so how was it in LA? It must have been a blast to see everyone!
D: I guess but I always felt like I was putting up a front.
J: What do you mean?
D: Well, it was hard to act 100% happy when I wasn't 100% happy. Even though I was with so many people I felt so lonely. I really mis-
WAITRESS: Here's your food. Sorry for the wait.
J&D: Thanks.
J: So, um what were you saying?
D: Oh, nevermind.
We finish dinner and the food was good. I can't stop thinking about what Dylan was saying. Was he about to tell me that he missed me? That he felt lonely without me? Or am I reading into it? UGH!!
DYLAN POV:
The waitress came at just the right time or else I might've spilled too much to Jackson about how I still feel about him. I just wonder if he still feels the same way.
I wonder if he still loves me and pictures a future together. If he still pictures us getting married and adopting kids. Because I do. I want all those things. With Jackson.
