INSPIRIT FOREVER

Today marks the 7th anniversary of the fandom. I am really happy that I came across the group, INFINITE. My life had never been better. I was not really into k-Pop back then. I was just listening to some Korean songs for my students were interested in them. (I am an Online English Instructor since 2006 and my students are all Koreans.) 

The first group that I really listened to is CN Blue. I really liked Jung Yonghwa's voice. Then, I saw that he has a K-Drama, YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL (SHE'S BEAUTIFUL) with Park Shin Hye, Jang Geun Seuk and FT Island Lee Hongki. I watched that and since then I got hooked to watching dramas. Then, I came across the drama, HIGH SCHOOL LOVE ON. I got curious about it because I thought Yonghwa was there. It turned out that it was not him, but it was none other than LEE SUNGYEOL. I got hooked on the drama because of the storyline and I was also in awe with LEE SUNGYEOL and NAM WOOHYUN's roles. I did research about them and I found out that they belong to a group called INFINITE. I researched about the group and without me knowing I already took liking of the group. I happened to already watched some of the dramas of one of their members, who is none other than KIM MYUNGSOO. 

From then on, I watched their variety shows, their radio guestings, their MVs, their concerts and their performances. I really find the group interesting and funny. Their camaraderie is great and they are not just a group, but they are already a FAMILY. 

Listening to their songs makes me calm and peaceful. Their songs make me happy and sad as well. I laugh at their crazy antics and their silliness. Their guestings in WEEKLY IDOL never fails to make me laugh. Their shows SESAME PLAYER, RANKING KING and INFINITE SHOWTIME makes me learn many things about them. I laugh with them and I also cry with them. It is indeed a rollercoaster of emotions.

When JANG DONGWOO's father died, I was really sad because I know he was in great pain. Loosing someone you love is indeed devastating. I admire his strength because he still joined their concert in Japan at that time despite what he was going through. 

When KIM MYUNGSOO was caught in a dating scandal, a lot of people started hating him, but I didn't. I continued supporting him and the group. Well, he is just human after all. He has the right to love and to be loved. I don't know why a lot of people were disappointed at him. Anyway, I feel bad because that left a big scar on him and that's why he seems scared of dating anyone. There were never any news about someone being linked to him. He just concentrated on his career.
