~Chapter 10~ Jealous? Me? Naah!

Manik's POV

After creating a more than required suspense atmosphere I finally decided to leave these curious cats varna unlog ne mera murder kardena hai.
"Okay Fine. I have decided that I am ready for this marriage. So its a Yes from my side..ab aaplog Nandini se baat karlo." I told them about my decision and without wasting a second left for my office. Mujhe pata tha ki if I would have waited there a minute more na toh vohlog mujhe office jaane hi nahi dete..So i opted for an even better solution and that is avoiding them. Smart nah? But I don't know whether what I did was right or wrong. I clearly told Nandini that I do not want this marriage just like her but then suddenly I agreed for it and that too without even talking to her first,but what could I have even done? Daadu was so eager for this proposal and I knew how badly he wanted it to happen. And this is one thing me that I can bear anything but not sadness in my family's eyes! Speciall when it is my Daadu. I know that this does not give me the right to not stand up to my words but he was looking towards me with hopeful eyes and I couldn't deny him. Its true that I don't want to take up itna bara responsibility but its also true that I can't hurt my Daadu. First time he has asked me something and that too not a selfish one. He only has my future in mind along with his best friend's last wish, so can't I do this for him. Even though I said yes but what tensed me was Nandini's reaction.

Maine usko samne, face to face bola tha that I will say no to the alliance but jab usko yeh pata chalega toh kya hoga. What should I do kuch samjh nahi ah raha hai mujhe.. God! Kis situation mein dal diya hai aapne. Please help me out na.
While thinking all this I reached my destination.

Moving out of my car I wore my glares and went inside the office building. Entering my cabin which is on the top floor of the office, I settled down in my chair and started going through a file in order to distract myself from the ongoing drama in my life. Matlab kabhi kabhi main bhi sochta hoon ki kitni happening hai meri life..I am sure a movie can be made about it.

I was engrossed in my work when someone barged in my cabin. He was about to fall but steadied himself. I looked up and smiled seeing my best friend,my buddy over there.

"Hey Buddy! Whatsup? Tu yaha iss waqt? Is everything Okay." I asked after hugging him and both of us sat down on the couch that was at the side corner of my cabin.

"Yaa..Buddy Its just that Alya ke liye kuch lene aaya tha toh socha tujhse milta chalu.I hope maine disturb nahi kiya tujhe" He spoke.

"Shut up yaa! Itna formal kyu ho raha hai tu? And no you did not disturb me but agar kiya bhi hota toh I wouldn't have minded...Chal achcha kiya tune. Aise bhi its been ages since we talked"

"Achha mere bhai..Sorry!By the way Manik ek aur baat thi. Cabir ka call aaya tha.. He told us about your decision amd trust me we all are happy for you but tune suddenly aapna decision change kaise kiya? Its just we are curious ." He said putting forwards his actual reason.

"Buddy! Its just that...." I created some suspense. Matlab aise hi thodi sab bata dunga.

"Haa..that ke aage bhi kuch bolega?" Dhruv said sounding irritated.

"That...Yaa chod. Mood nahi ho raha hai. Kabhi aur baat karenge iss baare main." I know that I was testing his patience but then it was necessary.

"Hadd hai yaar Manik....." Before he could complete all others just rushed inside without any warning. I knew that they must be standing outside and eavesdropping so yeah! It was my plan as I know these people like the back of my hand..And also their mindset so I was sure as to who made this plan.
