Chapter 14: So This Is Goodbye

(Kay's POV)

"Logan are you listening to me? What's wrong?" I said.

"Can we just go somewhere we can talk alone?" Logan said.

"Yeah sure but why can't you tell me right here right now?"

"I just can't."

"Fine."

I got into Logan's car and he got in to. As he started to drive away I noticed luggage in the back seat of his car. Was that there before? I'm not sure but what the hell.

(Logan's POV)

I drove all the way to Kay's house. I stoped in the front. I dont know how I'm going to tell Kay the bad news but I have to some how.

"What are we doing at my house?" Kay said.

"I have to drop you off at home because..." I paused and I stared out into the distence. "I'm going home to California."

"Wait, what? You have to be kidding me?"

"I'm sorry. I was paying more attention to you then recording Percy Jackson."

"So you date me for throng even three days and then you have to leave. What the fuck is wrong with you?!"

Kay opened the car door and got out. She slammed the door shut after she got out. I opened my door and got out.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't think we would be done filming so quickly." I said as I was walking toward her. She walked till she sat down on her front steps and she was now crying.

"That's why you can go out with famous people. They'll always break your heart." Kay said as she was crying.

I sat next to her and held her hand. She pulled her hand away.

"I'm sorry. We can still be together."

"Yeah, but that's not the point. I want us to be together here no miles away."

"Well its not like I can move here or you can move to California. I'm sorry, Kay."

I wrapped my arms around Kay and she pull away. She stood up and tried to stop cry but she couldn't.

"Leave." Kay said.

"Wait, what?" I said.

"Did you not here me! LEAVE! NOW!"

"Fine."

I walked away. I think I'm about to cry because the girl I love wants me to leave. I thought we loved each other. At lest I know I loved her. I was her boyfriend. It wasn't my fault I had to leave. She just doesn't understand. I wish she did.

I wiped the tears from my eyes. I started my car and drove away. My phone started to ring. I wish Ed for it to be Kay but when I saw Dean's name come up my heart sank more.

"H-hello." I said.

"Dude where are you? Our flite takes of in a hour." Dean said.

"I'm sorry. I just tried to tell Kay and it...it just didn't go right. I'm just so crush right now."

"I'm sorry about your girlfriend but your mom wants you home. You can't just say no to your mom and stay with a girl you only knew for about three days."

"I'm on my."

"Good. We'll be waiting for you." Dean said. Then I hung up my phone.

I arrived at the airport terminal a half an hour later.

"Your late man." Brandon (T. Jackson) said as I sat next to him.

"Yeah, I know." I said.

"Well I hope you and your girl can fix things cause that would suck."

"She yelled at me to leave. I don't think I can fix it."

"You can. You just have to find a way. Your always so good with the ladies."

"Yeah, but I love her more than any other girlfriend I had. She...she's...she's the one I want to be with but I have to leave to go back to California. It just sucks ass."

"Well hopefully you'll know what to do." Brandon said and he walked away towards the others and left me alone.

I felt like I wanted to die so bad. I was all alone which didn't help my case. I don't know if I should try to call her. Just maybe she'll pick up her phone. I took out my phone from my pocket and dialed Kay's number. It ringed three times. She's not going to answer. I got sent to her voicemail.

"Hi this is Kay. I'm sorry I couldn't get to your call but leave a message and I'll call you back when I get a chance." Kay's voice said.

"Hi Kay it's me Logan. I just want you to know that I'm not leaving for another half an hour." I paused. "I want you to know...."
