Chapter 5: Thanks Dad For Giving Me The Chance To See Logan

(Kay's POV)

I woke up the next morning early but not because of my dog this this time. I was just to excited for later. I will always remember this day, June 29, 2012. Witch will be the best day of my life. I looked at my clock it said seven in the morning. I heard foot step outside my door. Then the was a knock on my door.

"Come in!" I said. "Hey dad! What's up?"

"Good morning." He said but the was a long pause until he started to talk again. "I just received a call from my work and their having a meeting a noon in California. I'm sorry but I have to leave again but I'll be back tomorrow."

"It's no prob dad."

"I have to leave in an hour and I'm driving myself this time so don't worry. I know you had a bad time With Tammy yesterday but why don't you go sleepover one of your friends house and I'll pick you up when I get back tomorrow. How does that sound?"

"It sounds good I'll call Sam later and ask if I can sleepover."

"Ok, sweetheart. See ya in a little."

My dad left my room and I got dressed. I turned on my phone and there was a text from Logan. He asked me if I wanted to stop by the set this morning. I got an idea from him. My dad said I could sleepover a friends house but he didn't say what friend. No, I could get away with having a sleepover with Logan and anyway he's most likely staying at hotel and he's with Dean Collins. I can leave a little while after dad leaves and say I'm going to Sam's house then but go to the set instead. This plan would so work.

I went downstairs and my dad cooked us all pancakes and bacon. With was weird because he never cooks mom always use to but now it's Tammy or me.

"Wow dad this breakfast is awesome." I said.

"I was thinking the same thing." Lilly said.

"Well that's good that you guys like it." Mu sad said.

We finished breakfast and it was eight o'clock, time for my dad to leave. We said bye to him And he asked me if I was going over Sam's house later and I said yes. But truth is I never called her yet. It doesn't matter anyway because she lives a couple houses down.

I head back to my room. Lilly asked me if she could watch cartoons in my room and I said yes. I know why she wanted to watch them in my room because she didn't want to be alone with Tammy in the living room and plus Tammy would never let he watch her cartoons.

"Alright Lilly sit on my bed, here's the remote, and I'll be right back I'll just be out on the podch calling my friend." I said.

"Ok." Lilly said.

Oh did I mention I have porch of my room and so does my dads room. I opened the door and went out on the porch. I took out my phone and dialed Sam's number. No answer must still be sleeping. I dialed Logan's number next. He picked up he's phone.

"Hey!" He said.

"Hi! I got your text and I was thinking I'll come over there now."

"Now?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Well I thought you didn't want...."

"My dad to know but he just left to got to California for a day and he said I can sleepover one of my friend house and I am later but I can pretend I'm going there now."

"Ok see you when you get here. Wil you have your dog this time and we still on for our date later right."

"I'm not bring my dog and yes we're still on for our date later. Bye."

"Bye."

I went back in my room and Lilly was still siting in the same place on my bed. Witch ment she wasn't listening to my phone call.

"Hey Lilly I got to leave but you can stay here if you don't mess up my room. Ok?" I said.

"Ok, but why are you going over Sam's house so early?" Lilly asked.

"Because we want to got to the mall."

I packed my backpack with a pair of cloth for later, a pair of cloths for tomorrow, a pair of pj's, my iPod, phone charge, my makeup, and everything else I needed. I said bye to Lilly and went down stairs, got my keys, and got stopped before I went out the door by Tammy.

"Where do you think your going." She asked me.

"I'm going to sleepover Sam's house. Dad said I could so move."

"Why so early?"

"Because we want to go to the mall. Now can you move?"

"Fine I'll move."

"Bye."

There was no bye that came out of Tammy's mouth just her scowling at me. Haha Tammy I'm getting away with something and you'll never know.
