Chapter I : Suspicious gift

Levi's P.O.V.

Crap, i forgot to bring my umbrella today and this stupid rain is falling like crazy, it doesn't looking like it'll stop anytime soon. I was thinking while running to the game store. Why God, why does the weather have to be shitty today out of all of these days? New fantasy game is coming out and i have to get it. I'm all wet and mom'll probably be hella angry but it'll be worth it.

I ran into the game store and saw my 'friend' Hanji. I don't really like her, but she saves me the best games so i tolerate her. I ran to the cash register as fast as i could. "Hey Levi long time no see"."I'm here because of...the new game" i said while panting and struggling for air. "I'm sorry but i just sold the last one" she said while pointing at a guy that just came out of the shop. "God fucking damn it!". I calmed and sighed in disapointment. I turned around and I was about to leave the store, when Hanji stopped me. "Wait, i think i have  good stuff for you, would you like to take a look?". I slightly moved her hand from my shoulder and nodded. "Follow me".

Hanji and I went to the magacine. And holy shit.. i didn't know the game stores have these huge rooms in the back! Everything from Mario to Sonic, from Minecraft to new Star Wars, Pokèmon, and alot more. I must say for an otaku like me, that place sure is heaven. I snapped out of my fantasy world when Hanji handled me some old dusty play station game. "What is that Hanji, you know i have high standards in games, is this some kind of a joke?" I surely was surprised with what she handed me and to be honast i was angry i ran here during a storm to get THAT. "Trust me Levi, you won't regret it. And if you want i wont take money for it,take it as a gift" she said while smirking at me. I made a "tch" sound and took the game. I was suspicious about it at first, but, what can i lose? I took the game and ran home as fast as i could.

When I arrived my mother was waiting for me at the doors with a not so happy look on her face. I knew I messed up, since she doesn't like it when i stay outside after school. She was kinda upset lately couse dad left and im not blaming her for that, since i'm a bit sad too. She grabbed me by my ear and pulled me inside.

Mom and I argued for a while, and, great, I'm grounded now! After her yelling session, i ran to my room and slammed the door. I guess i will have to wait to play the game untill next week. Man.. I just need to relax i need a long vacation somewhere far away from here. I'm tired from school and all that shit that happend with dad, my friends are assholes and i want people to leave me alone.

Fuck, I cant sleep. It's been 4 hours and i can't even close my eyes. I'm so bored.. .what should i do? I can't wait till next week to play the game. Mom is probably asleep now, a little play wont hurt, right? I sneaked out of my room carefully ,trying to stay completely silent. It would be bad if she woke up. I slowly opened the door of her room and looked around it. Crap, my game is next to her bed... I can feel my heart bumping loudly. Well, it's now or never. I quickly made a step in her room and grabbed the game. I swiftly left her room, not making a single sound.

I came back to my room happily, i locked the doors, put my headphones on and sat on my bed. There is no picture on the cover so i put the game in my play station to see what it's about.
Game was taking its time loading when i got petrified in fear. I heard a loud thunder hitting the street light next to my house. The next thing i felt was a strong electroshock filling every part of my body with pain.
I fell on my bed and everything went black.
