chapter 4

the next couple of weeks passed by quickly and easily me and noah spent a lot of time together and lee and i were just fine.i was crazy excited for bakersfield me and noah were starting our lives a couple of weeks ago i never though that would happen.i had been staying at the flynns pretty much every night because me and noah had been spending a lot of time online buying things for the apartment.

i hesitated to open my eyes but i had to.i got up and looked to my right to see that noah was still asleep so i creeped out of bed so i could go talk to lee.i brushed my hair and teeth as a courtesy and walked through the long white hallway to lees room.i knocked before opening the door."lee" i whispered loudly i looked around but he wasn't in his room so i i turned around and headed down the stairs and still no lee. i went back through the kitchen to see if his car was here and it wasn't so i decided to go back upstairs as i was passing by the kitchen i noticed a note on the counter.curiosity got the best of me i unfolded the paper......

dear fam,

im taking a trip to relax no big deal so don't make it into one i'm 22 years old ill be back soon and guys please leave me alone for a while

i was super confused why didn't he tell me he was leaving and why would he want to be left alone but he was right he is 22 years old and doesn't need a babysitter.i headed upstairs to take a shower and wake up noah to tell him to pack up the car for bakersfield.

"noah hurry up we gotta go" i yelled as loud as i could so he would hear me.i got in the car and honked a couple of times just to playfully annoy him.after a couple of minutes noah came out of the house and jumped in.i was kinda sad that our families weren't here to see us off especially lee but we were heading to bakersfield to live our lives."so shelly ready for this long ass drive"he said with a smirk of course "nope i took like 5 benadryl so your on you own" i said with a giggle not much longer i dozed off.

i woke up to noah nudging my shoulder and saying were here.i looked up and saw beautiful cute buildings all around but i recognized on from the pictures it was our apartment.it was light brown with dark brown trim and a red door. there was 4 other doors one to the left and two below it was really cute for a first apartment.i got out and told noah i was gonna take some pics and meet him inside i took so many pictures that noah carried all of our stuff we brought in before i was done.i took my last picture and walked inside. i went up the stepps and turned towards the door and stepped in it was super cute and smelled like flowers weirdly but I liked it.i went to our bedroom to see it the closet was huge plenty of room for both of our stuff. i walked to the window and stared out the window thinking about how i never expected my first apartment to be this nice and with noah. i walked out of the room to see the bathroom which was small but cute the tub was perfect for taking baths. i sat on the edge of the tub just thinking about all the amazing things me and noah would do together in this house.

i walked back through the hallway to look at the kitchen."noah you in here"i said admiring the fact that i dint need to yell for him to hear me.i turned the corner to the kitchen and completely froze.noah flynn was on one knee holding a small black box in his hands i felt a tear drip down my cheek i couldn't believe this was happening.so many things were running through my head that I couldn't even process them.i felt the eye contact deepen a smile appeared on his face that I didn't see often it was more special than one of his memorizing smirks I walked closer to him I stopped a foot a way from him and I let a little smile onto my face."Elle evans life isn't perfect and it's definitely not easy for years I denied that I loved you and when I finally told you I had never been happier we've had plenty of bumps in the ride and I know I've hurt you in ways that c ant be justified but I love you and don't ever want to loose you I want to spend the rest of my life unbelievably happy with you will you marry me"his words made me shiver in joy I gasped out the words "yes ".his smile became bigger than before as he opens the little box revealing a beautiful ring with a diamond in the middle souronded by to curves each returning to the ring he picked up the beautiful ring and lifted it to my finger as he slid it onto my finger I felt more and more years falling I was o happy I didn't know what to do with myself.he stood up and I jumped into his arms as our lips collided.
