ISSUE 03
Magpiekit seemed to realize quickly that I wasn't understanding what he was saying. He looked up at me with curiosity for a few minutes, but quickly seemed to make up his mind and decide that words weren't needed for play. He pounced on my tail, grabbing it in his claws, and I laughed. He was adorable, and it felt really weird to be a higher rank than someone else because I'd been a kit myself for so long.
Suddenly, Magpiekit's head snapped up and he looked back, towards the nursery, and I turned to follow his gaze. A gray she-cat had stepped out of the den, and looking at her scared me right away — her expression was furious! She had these dark green eyes scrunched up in anger, and her mouth was open in a snarl.
