Augustus had successfully joined the ranks of the Chaldea Security Organization, and was now following Solomon to the FATE, a system that allows a master to summon multiple servants.
After some tests, he had been qualified as A-Team material due to the immense reservoir of mana his body and its magic circuits had. The amount of magic circuits in his body were not remarkable, but the amount of mana his body produced was enough to supply even the more mana-intensive servants with enough mana to pull off even their energy-intensive techniques.
But on the way there, Augustus felt the Command Spell on the back of his right hand throb with energy.
"Something's gonna happen. I know it." Augustus said as he held to his right wrist, "When this command spell throbs like this, it's a sign something unexpected'll happen."
"Is that so?" Solomon asked.
"Hey, I know this. I saw this girl with a giant shield one time, and this thing started throbbing like it was on fire." Augustus said, "Don't know why, but it does that."
"Hmm..." Solomon hummed, "It could be that that command spell of yours is somehow linked to an ominous presence. It's been plaguing this world for some time."
"Eh, this presence you've sensed is probably not malicious." Augustus stated, "It's more than likely the god-entity Greencube. Its intention are pretty good. It's just rooting its presence in this world to help keep it safe."
"And how do you know that, again?" Solomon asked.
"Because I'm part of Greencube." Augustus stated, "The one part that is still human. The one fragment with strong emotions."
"Could you just give some sort of solid proof?" Solomon said, "It is slightly suspicious you explain the amount of mana your body generates and the odd shape of your already-present command spell with saying that you are connected to a god."
"Gah, fine." Augustus grunted as he clenched his fist, which started to emanate black electricity.
Then, a black hole tore open in front of the two.
"You're cramping my style, Solomon." Greencube stated as it walked out of the portal in a form resembling a fully black-and-white Evolto with purple highlights instead of red, "And I believe me coming for a quick visit is sufficient proof."
"It IS true!" Solomon said, terrified by the energy emanating from Greencube.
"It is. Happy now? This sufficient proof?" The Ascended Anti-Spiral stated.
"It... it is. I hope Augustus isn't lying about your intention." Solomon responded.
"Hey, I don't lie if the subject is serious, and as he's my human self, he won't lie." Greencube said as it walked back into the portal, "Arrivederci!"
"...What a terrifying presence." Solomon said.
"Nah. The guy's just pissed off." Augustus stated flatly, "Now, can we get to summon some servants for my team now?"
"Of course." Solomon said to the young man.
After reaching the room used for summoning.
Augustus then took out his hand, which started to crackle with the same black electricity as the system activated.
And in the dimension between all dimensions, realities and time itself, Greencube grumbled.
"I suppose it can't be helped." Greencube declared, "May Augustus E. Bahamut's luck be blessed with good Gacha!
And with a flash of light, a servant had been summoned.
