Augustus, accompanied by his servants, was heading towards Mt. Vesuvius.

"This is gonna be something. A giant lava monster of some persuasion's gone and plugged the volcano, and now we're about to bust a cap in its ass. Quite a change from sitting around all day and doing surprisingly little more than a few minor quests to slay monsters and an alarming amount of goblins."

"I recall, Master." Okita Alter replied as she followed Augustus the closest out of the group.

"I HATED the way they slobbered at me." Jeanne Alter replied.

"That's why I shot those things in their eyeballs. Serves then right for being such depraved creatures." Augustus replied.

"Do you have a distaste toward goblins, maître?" Napoleon asked.

"On that mission, definitely." The magus replied.

Then, he heard some sort of noise from down the road, and saw a massive, musclebound man running at them.

"An enemy servant?" Augustus wondered aloud.

"We will dispose of him swiftly, master." Sigurd said as he unsheathed his blade, Gram.

"Hmm, I wonder why this one seems familiar..." the magus wondered as the overly muscular man roared like a beast.

"...That's it! It's Heracles!" Augustus said as he retreated behind his servants, who formed a defensive parameter around their master.

But on closer inspection, he seemed different. More ferocious and heavily-armored.

"Okay, that's not Heracles exactly. This could be bad." Augustus stated, "Be careful."

"Gáe Bolg Alternative!" Declared Scathach as she ran up at the Berserker and struck him. He survived the blow and smacked her back.

"Scathach!" Augustus said, alarmed. He ran to grab the Lancer to move her to safety.

And before Heracles could attack him, Napoleon was quick to begin the counterattack with his cannon.

"Protect our maître while he tends to her wounds!" He said, "Do not falter!"

The melee-range servants were quick to attack Heracles in a group attack while Augustus had gotten Scathach into a safe spot behind Napoleon and Cursed Arm Hassan.

"You'll be fine, don't worry." He said while casting a healing spell.

"... No wonder your creator admires you. You are a genuine team player." Scathach said to him as she started to regain her strength.

However, what Augustus wasn't expecting to see was the winged shadows heading towards them from the mountain.

"What are those things?" he thought as Cursed Arm Hassan looked closer.

"...Dragons. Or at least something similar to dragons." the Assassin said as he tried to describe the draconic creatures that resembled said creature, that is except that they seemed to be made of lava, magma and living rock.

"Crap. Napoleon, take aim at them and show them that we're not to be trifled with." Augustus said, 'They're coming from the direction of Mt. Vesuvius... Were things created or summoned by the monster in the mountain?'

As the magus thought, he recalled something that his creator, Greencube, had said. He recalled that it would have a Servant Fragment, a fragment of its soul made into a powerful servant, protect it at its desperate moments.

'Well, if they'll ever help, this would be the time, no doubt!' Augustus thought, 'I've got my servants preoccupied by this souped-up Berserker and a massive swarm of dragons. Come on then, heed my call and save me in this time of need!'
