The day after Augustus had moved in to Chaldea Security Organization's Mediterranean Headquarters, he woke up in his bed and found Scathach, the lancer-class servant that his creator, Greencube, had summoned to lead his Servant team alongside Augustus himself.

She had fallen asleep next to Augustus, but had remembered to leave a pillow under his head before falling asleep next to the god-made magus.

"What an oddjob." Augustus quietly said before getting up from bed and putting on his clothes and equipment belt.

"Good morning, master. Did that Lancer do anything to you?" Okita Alter asked her master.

"Thankfully, no." he replied, "But boy is she an irritating variant of the tsundere archetype. Acts all motherly, big sisterly or whatever but then says that she isn't doing any of that."

Okita Alter sighed.

"Well, I made you breakfast. Jeanne also asked for you." she said.

"Probably something about the book we're making." Augustus said as he let out a yawn.

"Book?" Okita Alter asked.

"A manga book." he replied, "But today, we have to go on a longer quest to gather the materials to ascend you and the other servants. Scathach is the only one I don't need to upgrade, since she's already upgraded to the max thanks to Greencube."

"Interesting." Okita Alter said as Augustus headed to the kitchen to eat some pancakes, sandwiches and drink water for breakfast.

"Yo." Jeanne Alter said as she sat down next to Augustus with some papers in hand, which she placed on the table, "Finished the drawing. How's it look?"

Augustus checked the sketches, going through them while humming inquisitively.

"Yeah, looking good. We could make a mint with this if we wanted to, if you ask me." he stated.

"Heh, I suppose we could." Jeanne said with a chuckle.

"Anyway, get ready for a fight, because we'll be heading out on a longer mission." Augustus told her, "I'll tell the other servants, and then we prep up before heading out. I think we can't lie around all day when you guys haven't even reached your full potential."

"Hm, still goal-oriented, even when you could just laze about all day." Jeanne Alter said.

"Well, someone has to be active around here. I bet you'd spend your days tanning yourself to no avail if you were to decide." Augustus stated, which seemed to irritate Jeanne Alter.

"Well, excuse me for being in the summer mood and wanting to take advantage of the amazing weather outside." Jeanne said with a pouty face.

"We'll have plenty of time for that after we're done. Apparently this place is has an average temperature of around 20 °C for most of the year, with a drop of maybe 5 degrees tops. " Augustus said, pausing to take a sip of his orange juice, "So need to complain about missing summer, it's basically endless summer here."

"Hm. I expect you to put sunscreen on my back when we get back from the mission. I'm going to the beach after that, like it or not." Jeanne said to her master.

"Yeah, whatever. I'm willing to oblige." Augustus said, "And unlike some, I won't even consider getting touchy-feely. Because I bet a good deal of the masters in Chaldea would do that, the perverts."

"Tell me about it." she replied, "Those magi you spared me from would have no doubt done that."

"Well, all the more reason to be happy you're with me, eh? Having to do a few missions and then getting to relax all you want ain't too shabby." the magus said before biting on the sandwich he had for breakfast, "But yeah, go ahead and prepare. The next mission is gonna be a doozy and a half. I'll finish this sandwich first, though."
