''This will be a bit cold.'' I flinched when the cold gel hit my stomach and looked at the screen, Dylan was behind me looking over my head, I didn't have a bump just a flat stomach.
''And that right there is your baby.... Hold on a second.'' my heart stopped with worry, she frowned and I looked at Dylan who's face masked a worried expression and he was frowning.
''I'm sorry I mean babies.'' she said with a smile.
''Babies?'' Dylan asked.
''Babies.'' I repeated she smiled and nodded.
''Yup two babies, they seem to be growing perfectly and happy in there.'' I leaned my head back feeling dizzy.
''Are you going to faint?'' I asked Dylan he looked at the screen.
''Twins, two babies.'' he repeated she cleaned me off, it was a long morning for my first scan I had to get blood test urine samples weight in then wait around for an hour to be call and I still had loads to do before tomorrow came around.
''You take it easy over the Christmas just relax and enjoy your pregnancy.''
''Thanks so much a Merry Christmas and a happy new year.''
''You too sweetie have a good one.'' I walked out Dylan followed, I smiled down at my scans, I turned to Dylan who was pale as ghost I got in the car he just sat behind the driver's seat steering straight ahead, I bit my lip looking at him, not sure what to say, he looked at me then to my hand and took the scan studying it for about five minutes.
''I hopes it two boys.''
''What?'' I asked he smiled and looked at me.
''I've always wanted twins, well I want a kid first to learn from then twins, but it's twins now, Jesus Kenzie this is the best news I've heard gotten in my entire life.''
''You mean that.'' he nodded leaning over and kissed me.
''Yeah baby I mean that.'' I smiled he wiped my tear away.
''Two baby Hollywood's to run around after.'' he said I chuckled.
''Can't wait.'' he pecked me once more before driving back home a ridiculous grin on his face.
''What needs to be done now?''
''Just wrapping her toys, everything is done thank god.'' I said sitting in the living room 3 weeks of nothing but hard work, it was hard but totally paid off and I was very grateful.
''I'll do that.'' I stopped him.
''Dylan I'm pregnant not disabled ok.'' he sighed I smiled grabbing the wrapping paper and sat on my knees on the ground, thankfully my mom took Amy today for Christmas eve otherwise we wouldn't have gotten her presents wrapped. We literally spoiled her rotten this year, she never had Christmas much Presents and she still thinks because she didn't get much Santa won't bring much again this year, so she's not excited, so we wanted her to wake up in the morning to a living room full of presents.
''I'll put them in the hallway closet and lock the door.'' he said I nodded grabbing lose paper and put it in the bin.
''Babe you fancy a Chinese!'' I called.
''Yeah sure I'll grab one when I go get Amy from your mom's.'' I nodded to myself cleaning the kitchen. I was heading over to my parents about noon tomorrow, so I could give my mom and grandma a hand and give out presents, I only shopped for my mom my dad my grandpa and my grandma then between the 11 of us we done a Christmas Santa and I got Jasper.
''Right that's everything, it's after 5 so I'm going to swing by get the kid and I'll get food on the way home.'' I nodded ok, he bent down and kissed me patted my belly with a wink and left, I smiled and went upstairs, changing out of my clothes, I put on a pair of shorts and one of Dylan's top and went down stairs, putting the fire on I laid on the sofa just as the 1994 movie a Miracle on 34th street came on.
Half hour later the lights of Dylan's car pulling up shined in the window. The door opened and soft footsteps ran into the house
''Mom.'' I hummed turning to Amy she sat beside.
''Are we going back to grandma and grandpa's tomorrow.'' I smiled, that was the first time I heard her call them that.
''Yeah baby we are, and Nevaeh will be there.'' she smiled and sat down I looked at the door Dylan walked by with an unreadable expression on his face I smiled at Amy putting the blankets over her and followed him into the kitchen.
''What's wrong?'' he shook his head putting the bags and a Happy meal on the counter.
''Babe.'' I said standing beside him, he sighed and looked at me.
''She called me daddy.'' I nodded.
''Ok.'' I said.
''She's never called me that before Kenzie.'' my eyebrows when up and I smiled.
''And you don't know what to think of it?'' he nodded.
''Your dad helped make her, but you rear her, made her food, bath her, done her hair brought her to school help with her homework, you're her daddy Dylan, you've never been a brother.'' he looked at the counter, I kissed his arm and picked her happy meal up and walked into the living room.
''Eat this then you'll get juice.'' she nodded.
''You're getting a bath soon then bed early for Santa ok.'' she sighed.
''He's not coming.'' I sighed.
''He'll come baby I promise, now bed early tonight ok me and daddy are going to bed early as well.'' she nodded, I kissed her head going back into the kitchen he was dishing out the food and put the plates on the counter, opening a bottle of beer and sat down.
''You better just used to being called daddy, you'll have two others calling you that.'' he smiled down at his plate; I chuckled picking my fork up.
''Are you feeling ok?'' I smiled
''Yeah baby I'm fine.'' he nodded leaning over kissing my cheek making me smile.
''Are we telling her in the morning or what?'' I smiled.
''Well I was thinking about putting a scan picture in her stocking.'' he smiled.
''That's a Brilliant idea.'' I smiled and nodded.
''I got her this gorgeous little t-shirt last week when I was shopping, it says' ''I'm going to be a big sister'' it's so cute.'' he smiled I chuckled finishing my food, I cleaned the dishes watched telly, then at 7 I bathed Amy, braided her hair wet so it's be nice and curly in the morning.
''Sweet dreams baby, I love you.''
''I love you to momma.'' I kissed her head pulling the covers up and knocked her light out; I left her door half opened and went back down stairs.
''Well stick them out in an hour when she's in a deep sleep.'' he nodded pulling me down on him and kissed me I chuckled my hands on either side of his head holding myself up.
''I love you.'' I smiled.
''I love you to.'' I pecked him and got off him grabbing the remote and blanket and laid down he scoffed I smiled moving over and he laid down behind me.
''So after the Christmas we've to do the basement.'' I nodded.
''Yeah well you can't do that, but make sure there's something kiddy things down there for Amy like a dancing machine or something.'' he nodded.
''I was thinking of making it our safe room.''
''Why do we need one?''
''We don't but just to have for safety, you're still Rhage's Daughter and Lorenzo Macari's grand-daughter.'' I nodded in understanding.
''Babe.'' I hummed opening my eyes.
''We've to put the gifts in, then shower.'' I nodded pulling the covers off me, he carried them in and I put them under the tree and around it.
''You shower first.'' I nodded ok going up stairs, I had a fifteen minute shower got out and dried my hair, I was just straightening it when he got in the shower.
''Dying to go to bed.'' he said putting boxers on towel dried his hair then got into the bed.
''I'm going to grab a bottle of water need anything down there before I set the alarm?''
''Nah just yourself.'' he said rolling on his side I chuckled turning my straightener off and grabbed the bag from one of the guest bedroom, I hit under the bed that contained Dylan's gifts. I put them under the tree and grabbed water turned the alarm on and went to bed.
