Appearance: brunnet, tan skin, blue eyes, skinny, overall a handsome guy

Age: 17

Personality: he is alpha to be and he is caring. 100% faithful and anything us girls would like in a guy!

Rivers POV

I was on my way to maths as I ran into Annika knocking our body's down to the floor and paper flew every were, it was my plan, to finally meet her, she's my mate, I've known since the first day of high school, after a while I grew to love her. I know your probably thinking I'm acting like a chick but she really does give me this great sensation of being around her, I try to sit close to her. Today's the day I was going to tell her because she just turned 17 last night.

"I'm so sorry, that was all my fault, I'm so sorry" she apologised, even though it was my fault.

"No, it's ok, um so your Annika aren't you" I asked as if I wasn't sure, but I was.

"Uh yeah, uhm River right?" she asked nervously

"Yep" I said as charmingly as I could.

"Hey we should catch up later, how about lunch?" I asked, hoping she was interested.

"Yeah, okay" she smiled, she looked like she was willing to hang.

"What do you have?" I asked knowing she had maths when I have English.

"Maths, you?" She asked picking up the last piece of paper on the floor

"English, and I'd better go because Mrs Rockten will be mad if I'm late and then we can't hang out, so see ya" I explained as I hurried of.

"Bye" she giggled

Annika's POV ( second period, science )

I sat down in a seat at the back, normally Abbey would sit with me but she was doing some art thing for the school, I liked science, probably because I'm good at it.

Some one sat next to me, they had a strong smell, it was indescribably Great.

"Hey" I turned around to see River, sitting next to me.

"Hi, how are ya?" I asked trying to not make it awkward, I don't even know why his sitting next to me, because something's wrong with me, I don't know what it is but for some reason boys run from me.

"Great, thanks and you?" He asked, I was great because he had such an addictive smell to him. But
I'm still freaked out from last night and I can't stop thinking about how my mum told me I was adopted.

"Great" I sighed, not meaning to because now he's going to be up my case.

"Is every thing alright?" He asked worry covered his gorgeous face.

"Yeah" I chirped trying to change his mind.

Through out class I didn't see him doing his work at all, he just stared at me, and he was literately drooling. He was kinda creeping me out, but I guess I liked having his attention, boys don't even dare talk to me, I don't even know why.

(After class)

I sat down with my friends(Abbey, Shayla, Arisha, Anya and Demi) we started talking about how I found out I was adopted, then Tiver sat right next to me, my hip was touching him, it sent shivers down my spine, but I ignored it, as I thought it was just a spur.

"Hey, I hope you don't mind me, sitting with, you" River smiled at me, which of course tickled me inside.

"No, it's fine" my friends all giggled.

Abbey who was sitting next to me whispered " I think he likes you"

"Haha, I wish" I whispered back.

River started smile, as if he could hear us.

"Hey, Annika, could I talk to you alone" River asked seeming nervous all of a sudden.

I looked at my friends, who gave me a, go for it look.

"Okaaay" I slowly said wondering what this was about.

I followed him to a quite corner of the school.

"So, I'm not sure how to put this but, well we are both werewolf's"

"Wait, what, your one too?" I cut of.

"Yeah, half the school is, your friends Abbey, Shayla and Anya are too" he explained.

My best friends are werewolf and they didn't even tell me? Did they know? River did, wait how did he know? I wondered.

"How much do you know?" He asked, and I'll tell you I don't know much.

"I know that every full moon you turn into one, that's all" I said embarrassed.

"You watch way to many movies" he chuckled, I felt my cheeks burn up in embarrassment.

"Well then I know nothing" I sighed

"Well, I'll tell you something. In year 8, I saw you and I knew that you were the one, the one I've been looking for, since I was in year five. You see every werewolf, has a mate, every one will find theirs and went they do they just know, they cannot live with out them once the female turns 17 and I know that was yesterday, and if the don't see or are not close to their mate they will kill them selves, they stop eating, drinking or sleeping. And you are my mate" he explained,

We just stared into each other's eyes, and he slowly leaned down and kissed me for a while.(sorry I don't go into detail for kissing scenes or love scenes, sorry)

And he then whispered in my ear.

"Will...you be my girlfriend"

"Yes" I replied.

The bell inturupted, that was my first kiss. Yeah I know, it's pathetic I'm 17 and I haven't even kissed any one yet, well I have now!

"Hey um so uh let's meet here next break?" He asked grabbing his bag

"Okay" I smiled, I was stunned.

I grabbed my bag and skipped of to cooking class.

This was a long chapter it was originally different, but I accidentally deleted it, it took a while to want to write it again but I encouraged my self to.
