(Still Annika's POV)

After a long day of school, I got into the car with river and we drove home, we had a silent ride home, it wasn't awkward though, it was nice.

As we pulled up to the apartment, I noticed the man from the festival, through the window.

I walked inside and right to him.

"Hello?" I greeted him, as I questioned him for being her.

"Hello Annika, I've managed to reach your parents" he beamed a bright smile at me.

I think my heart skipped a beat, at the news.

"Where are they?" I asked.

"Do you want me to take you?" the man asked

"Sure, can we go now?" I asked with such excitement.

"Sure" he told me

"I'm coming" river told us.

"I don't think that's I good idea" he told river as he motioned for me to follow him.

"She's my mate" he yelled at him, his eyes seemed to be changing into a frightening red colour.

"It's okay river, don't worry, it's going to be fine" I calmed him.

We then left him behind feeling helpless.

I got into what I though was a blue Ferrari, I'm not sure, I'm not good at working out car types.

He started the roaring engine and drove off, he started going faster and faster, until he was going over the speed limit.

"Id appreciate it if you could please slow down" I hesitated.

"I'd appreciate it if you could shut the hell up!" he yelled at me

I obediently shut up, and started to shiver with fear. was he even taking me to my parents? this was something I decided against.

I quickly reached for the door handle but before I reached it, I heard a click, meaning he locked it before I could open it.

My heart raced even more, my mined filled with scenarios, that may happen. this car ride seemed to go on for ever, until we reached a small building in the middle of no where,

I heard the door slam and then mine open, he pulled my arm for me to get out, I obediently did what he wanted me to, once I was out I jumped up to knock out his chin, but he shock it of and pulled me into the building, no matter how much I kicked him, he wouldn't let go. he sat me into a chair in an empty room. be then put the cuffs on my hands if my hands touched them, it burned, it was probably silver, the man left me and locked the door.

I then remembered that I could mind link him.

"Babe I need you, he lyed I'm in a room and I'm in cuffs that are burning me" I linked to him"

He didn't reply to me, what seemed like 5 minutes he still hadn't replyed, I tryed again.

"River?" I mind linked him.

An hour had past, I have tryed about 30 times but every time I failed.

I've been in this scary smelly room, for about an hour, the air smelled stale and wet. I was getting dehydrated and needed something to drink.

RIVERS POV

It's been 3 hours and she still hasn't answered any of my mind links, she hasn't left any messages or called, I was getting really worried about her, but I know she's fine, she's with her mum and dad, everything with be fine.

I made dinner and went to bed, except I couldn't sleep because I was worried about Annika, if she hasn't answered me by tomorrow I will go look for her.

ANNIKAS POV

I've been in this awful place for about 4 hrs and nothing has happened yet, I'm getting even more scared.

The man came back in with a plate if food and water, I hesitated but I ate it as he feed it into my mouth.

After he finished feeding me I managed to get something out

"Why are you doing this?" I asked quitly

"Because I'm being paid a lot of money" be explained

"Why am I here?"

I demanded in an alpha tone

"Because I put you here" he yelled back"

He then left in anger, and slammed the door shut, leaving me in complete darkness.

I slowly managed to fall asleep, but awoke in the morning because my phone went off.

It was river, but I couldn't reply to him, because my hands were cuffed to a chair, soon enough the man came back with a hammer, he took my phone out of my pants, and smashed it with the hammer on the ground.

All my hope was lost how could anyone find me, river isn't replying, maybe we were to far away.

I sighed in sadness and fear, what was going to happen to me.

RIVERS POV

I woke up and Annika still hadn't called, replyed, messaged so I called her, but she didn't reply to me.

My heart sank because I was worried for her, I love her and I don't want any harm to come to her.
