Chapter 11

I woke up in rivers comfy bed, I forgot about everything for a moment, but then reality hit me in the face, and I started to groan.

As I put my legs over the edge of the bed, I silently stared at the Gray carpet and processed as much as I could.

River quietly came into the room with a tray of food, the tray contained, a coffee, pancakes and flowers.

"Thankyou, river, that was so nice of you" I thanked him

" Oh, this is mine" he said bluntly, and then licked his lips

I blushed in confusion and embarrassment.

"Just kidding" he gave a genuine smile, and placed the tray on my lap, I than got my self comfy and ate happily, it was so good.

"Are you excited for tonight?" river asked, quietly.

"Yes!" I exclaimed.

As I licked the syrup of my lips I remembered I don't have anything nice to wear to the festival.

Although, I could wear that dip-died mooloola dress from city beach.

"Good" he took the tray if me and I gave my thanks as he left the room.

We have only been together for a few days, yet I feel so close to him, it's as if we've been together for years.

He's being so good to me, and I need to show him that I'm grateful.

I got of the bed and walked into the lounge room to see abbey walking into the living room.

"Hey Annika" she called over to me.

"Hi, how are you?" I answered as I approved her.

"Okay, you?"she shrugged

"Yeah I'm good"i smiled slightly.

"I heard you went to hospital, are you okay?" she asked me now worry filled inside her.

"I'm fine, so should we go shopping for to night?" I asked raising an eyebrow at her.

"Yeah, let's go, once your dressed" she giggled.

In about 20 mins later, I came out in some vans, shorts and a tank top.

Then I got into abbeys light blue Beatle, I loved it, she named it mimi, for some strange reason, like seriously who names their cars?

We pulled up to the shops and searched around to find the perfect dresses, and shoes of course. As we entered an unknown shop, I spotted a dark pink dress that almost appears red and a black ribbon that reaches to just above my knees, it has small spaghetti straps.

Abbey also found the perfect black dress, it goes down halfway up her upper leg and has a few frills at the bottom.

We then obviously needed new shoes so we went to a store called (haven't thought of the name yet) , decided on them because I saw the most cute black flats I've ever seen. they were average, although they had a bow on the tip of them.

I walked out of the dressing cubical like a modal and winked at abbey.
"this is the one" I smiled at her, twirling in my dress feeling like a princess.

Abbey found a pair of red pumps, that remind me of Dorothy's shoes from that movie 'the wizard if oz'
She looked gorgeous in them, I thought I looked great, if I say so my self.

We quickly payed for our new clothes and hurried to the hairdressers to book an appointment.

After we had got our hair Done, I ended up curling my hair, and abbey straitened hers, we are so different and so the same.

"So what now" I asked abbey as we exited the hairdressers.
"I'm starving, let's eat" she dramatically exaggerates.
"Sure" I agreed

We ended up in a line at maccas, I haven't been the healthiest lately.

We are our meal, as we talked and joked around.

Then we left in "mimi" and drove all the way back to rivers, or should I call our apartment?

Me and abbey got dressed into our dresses, and waited for river to be ready, then we left for the big excitement.

Hey, I finally updated I'll try to update more often now, the school holidays are up, so I think I'll get a few chapters up, what do you thinks going to happen at the party, message me what you think.

Tbh, I have writers block and don't know what's going to happen so please help me out! Bye, I'll update soon.
