Felix’s P.O.V.

Molly and I walked and talked for a bit, she only proved my theory. She was mega awesome! She may not be a goth but she’s definitely cool, and she believes in magic and witches! She’s the only one that does; Ellen wasn’t so interested in that even though she was a goth.

“What about spirits, do you think they exist?” Molly asked me.

“Yeah I do, they may not have been scientifically proven but I think they are” I answered

“OMG me too! I always wanna talk about this stuff with Mia and Tammy but they never seem to be interested in things like that. They thought it was stupid so I never brought it up” she said.

“They don’t even sound like real friends then. Why do you hang with them? If yous don’t even share the same interests?” I asked

“I don’t know. Mia and I have been friends since the start of this year, I never really had many friends and she became my first real one. And ever since then I guess became friends with everyone” she replied.

“So now you're like the hottest girl at Bremin?” I said raising my eyebrow.

“Nooooo nothing like that! Hahaha, besides that’s Mia not me” she said blushing slightly.

I cracked up laughing which I never thought I would actually do, its not something that us goths do. I haven't laughed ever since Oscar's accident “well I’d say you’re the hottest girl at Bremin”

“Since when do goths call girls hot?” she asked with her cheeks getting a hot red colour.

“Well since now” I said grabbing her hand and taking her to Arcane Lane where Phoebe’s magic shop was.

“Where are you taking me?” she asked giggling.

“Magic shop, thought you might like it” I replied and she smiled

“Oh yes! I haven’t been there in ages! The last time I went was to get some beeds for jewellery with Mia. Well Mia got the beads and I got a dream catcher.” She said.

“Well today we’re gonna look at some real magical things. Come with me” I said still holding on to her hand. We walked in and I saw Phoebe, so she still exists in this world.

“We don’t sell vampire books” she said to me. Yep, still the same Phoebe.

“I’m not looking for vampire books.” I replied.

“My mistake” she said and looked at Molly, “and what can I help you with?”

“I’m with him” Molly said pointing at me. Phoebe rolled her eyes and mumbled something to herself about something to do with teenage love.

“You used to have a book back there. Tapestry, handbound pretty old. Any chance I can have a look at it?” I asked.

Phoebe scoffed “no chance, that’s not kids stuff.”

“Sealed section right?” I replied.

“Yes, the sealed section,” she rolled her eyes. She was really getting on my nerves now, I need to get inside her back room and get her book of shadows to find out why the spell went wrong and why everyone’s forgotten us.

“Hey Felix, can I ask you something?” Molly asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.

“Yeah, of course. What is it?” I replied.

“Do you have feelings for Ellen?” she blurted out. I stiffened and looked away from her. What do I say? I don’t know what I feel anymore, I’ve liked Ellen since I met her in year 7. But I don’t know if those are real feelings anymore, but since I’ve met Molly it’s different. She’s the total opposite of me but I can’t get her out of my mind, the more I get to know her the more I fall for her. Molly stared at me, hoping to get an answer but I stayed silent.

She coughs and says “I’m gonna go find the others, bye”

“Wait no I’ll come with you, we’ll come back here another time” I quickly said. I didn’t wanna let her go on her own.

“No, really it’s fine, I just need some space right now, so I’d really appreciate it if you leave me alone for a bit please” she said, her eyes a bit watery. She ran out of the shop without another word leaving me stunned. Oh god, what have I done?
