Molly’s P.O.V
*at the magic shop*
Felix and I walked into the magic shop to find Phoebe at the counter like she was expecting us to walk through any second, hmm weird but I didn’t go to question it. “So did the talisman work?” she asked.
“Yes, you should’ve seen it! But the others didn’t believe it was magic, typical.” I rolled my eyes.
Felix nudged me, “anyways, can you tell us what’s going on with this weather? Is it always changing like this?” he changed the subject.
“No, it’s always dull, never changes as fast as this. It’s peculiar really, I’ve been trying to figure it out, ever since you guys came along, the weather hasn’t been the same. It’s something to do with the elements.” She answered.
“Wait, I’m confused. How do I fit it into all of this? I don’t get it, there are 4 main elements, but there are 5 of us. What does that make me?” I questioned.
“I think I know,” Phoebe said taking out her book of shadows. She opened it up to a page which read “the weather power” she handed me the book and told me to read it.
“The weather power is a very powerful element that is very rare. Whoever possesses this can control every single element. If they are happy, the sun shines. If they are sad, the rain will fall. If they are angry, natural disasters begin. This element is to be cautious of, it is a beautiful thing to have but it is also very dangerous.” I read. “Oh my god, Felix do you remember when I was crying? It began to rain but when I started to be happy again the sun shone? Do I have the weather power? Am I the weather element? Oh my god!”
“I believe you do Molly, but you have to be careful of what you feel and think, because it now impacts on the weather. I can give you a list of all the feelings and how the weather will change when you experience them. Please make sure you study them well, it will help you control your power.” Phoebe replied and went in to her back room to get the list.
“I can’t believe you can control the weather! That’s awesome!” Felix smiled.
“I know right!? I’ve always gotten told that the weather changes are like my feelings, and now they really are!” I laughed.
Phoebe returned with a list of emotions and weather changes. Well this is gonna be fun to learn…. “Here you go, make sure you learn them well and try to control your element. It will be hard, but it’s not impossible. Felix, help her.”
Felix and I walked out of her shop and started reading through the list:
“happy – sunshine”
“sad – rain”
“angry – thunder + lightning”
“scared – windy”
“confused – misty/foggy
“In love – rainbow”
Felix stared at me, “wasn’t there a rainbow today after the sun shone? Oh my god, Molly you’re in love with someone! Who is it?” he asked.
I panicked, oh shit. Felix is gonna know about my feelings for him because of this weather power, what do I do?! “No I’m not! The rainbow probably came out because it was raining and then the sun appeared. I’m not in love with anyone!” I protested.
Felix looked like he didn’t believe me but he shrugged it off and didn’t ask any more questions. “Come on, we should probably get back to the others, we need to stick together just in case another attack happens!”
I nodded and we walked back to the shack.
