Chapter 6

Felix’s P.O.V.

I’m so angry urgh! Jake gets everything, he gets the girls, the sport captain roles, EVERYTHING! Including the girl that I may be in love with! Wait did I just say IN love!? What’s happening to me?! Goths don’t fall in love, we fall in hate. This girl has spun my world. And I don’t want her to be my girlfriend, I NEED her to be my girlfriend. My world was dark and depressing, but then I saw her and she brought some light in to it. I don’t know how, but it’s like she’s got me under a spell. Wait.. spell! I need to go back to Phoebe’s and get that book! But I need someone to come with me, I guess I have to go back into the shack and ask Molly to come with me, I don’t exactly wanna go with Jake or I’d probably bash his head in, I don’t wanna go with Andy because he’ll keep talking about one of his stupid theories which are obviously wrong since magic is the reason why we’re here and I don’t wanna go with Sam because he’ll just bring up my “love” for Molly. I sighed and walked in. All eyes were on me.

“Molly, can I talk to you for one minute?” I asked, “alone” I added.  She nodded and we walked outside “can you please come to Phoebe’s shop with me again? I need someone to distract her while I go get the book of shadows” I asked.

“Why didn’t you ask one of the others? Why did you just ask me? I’m sure the others would’ve been up to it” she replied.

“Because they don’t understand, only you do. You believe in magic and the rest think I’m crazy” I said.

“You are crazy. But so am I, so I guess I’ll come with you” she gave in and smiled.

I smiled back and we walked to Arcane Lane together.

*at Phoebe’s magic shop*

“Okay so you come inside with me and ask about jewellery and stuff and I’ll sneak in through the back? Alright?” I whispered.

“Yep got it, oh and Felix.. good luck and I believe you about magic being the reason why we’re here” she said which made me smile like an idiot.

Molly’s P.O.V.

“Excuse me, could you please help me pick out some beads and stuff to make some jewellery?” I asked Phoebe. She nodded and walked me over to the jewellery section. Wow, not much has changed at all with the beads.

I picked one up; this was like the ones Mia bought back in the real world. I smiled to myself and put the beads back.

“So what type of beads do you want?” Phoebe asked me.

“Oh just normal ones, you know the ones to make bracelets and stuff” I replied trying to think of something. I could see Felix sneaking into the back room, now I gotta keep Phoebe occupied so Felix can find the book.

“Okay, well here we are” she said dropping a box full of beads to make bracelets. “Pick one out you like” she smiled and walked back to the counter. CRAP! If Felix comes out, Phoebe’s sure to catch him red-handed!

“Ummm do you have any dream catchers and stuff to chase away bad dreams?” I asked and she pointed to the one hanging near where I was standing, well that didn’t work! “So do those actually work? I’ve been having nightmares and I’m not sure if I should get one of these.” I asked.

She walked over and said “they’re more for decoration but if you do have bad dreams I suggest talking to therapist about it” she rolled her eyes. WOW, she really is as mean as Felix says; she was never this mean back in the real world. Some things really do change.

I could see Felix crawling along the floor with an old giant dusty book which I presume was the book of shadows. He signalled for me to move Phoebe away so I asked if I could buy the dream catcher and as I headed to the counter Felix jumped up and moved to the magic section.
