Chapter 5

Molly's P.O.V.

I ran out of the shop and called Sam “hey Sam, I really need your advice. It’s important, can you meet me at the skate park again?”

“Yes of course! Is everything alright? Is Felix with you?” he replied.

“I don’t know and I left Felix at the magic shop, just meet me here as soon as you can please” I said and hung up. I ran down to the skate park and waited for Sam when I saw Mia again, “hey Mia, right?” I asked pretending I didn’t know her.

“Yeah, hey. We ran into each other the other day didn’t we?” she asked

“Yeah we did, sorry about that. I thought you were someone else. I’m Molly by the way, I’m new in town” I said

“That’s alright! It’s nice to meet you Molly, I’m Mia as you already know” she laughed. “Well I should go, I’m meeting my friend Ellen. I’ll see you around, bye.” She added.

“Oh okay, bye Mia” I mumbled and walked to where Sam was standing with his skateboard. “Sam! Oh I’m so happy to see you right now! I need your advice, since I guess you’re the only one that has any experience with relationships and all that” I said. As much as it would make him even more of an airhead than he already is, I really needed to talk to him.

He smiled “what is it? I have answers for every relationship problem there is, hit me up.”

I rolled my eyes, “well um you see when you and Andy left with Jake to find his mum I waited behind for Felix and we went to the magic shop together and started talking and getting to know each other. And I really REALLY like him. A lot. But I think he’s in love with Ellen, I asked him and he didn’t answer. So what do I do?”

He thought a bit before finally answering “well that’s pretty simple really, all you have to do is make him jealous. Trust me it works with every guy. I should know because I am a guy after all. How about you show some interest in Jake? That would drive him insane!”

I didn’t really like the idea of making Felix jealous but Sam did have a point, guys do get easily jealous. Even Mia always told me that, well she used to anyway. “Okay, I’ll do it! Where’s Jake now?” I asked.

“He’s at the real estate agency talking to his mum, she doesn’t remember him either. Why don’t you meet him there and I’ll go talk to Felix?” he asked.

“Sounds good, well I’ll see you later then” I said before running back up to town.

*at the real estate agency*

“Hey Jake!” I yelled waving.

“Molly! Hey, where’s Sam? He rushed off to go see you saying it was an emergency what happened?” he asked

“Oh it was nothing, don’t worry. I thought I lost my backpack and it had some important things in there but turned out Felix had it so he’s gone to go get it now” I lied. He believed it and we started walking down to meet the other boys now.

When I saw Felix I quickly hugged Jake and said “I hope we get home, I miss everyone.” I looked back to Felix and he looked a bit shattered. Well this seems to be working. Sam gave me a thumbs up.

“Don’t worry, I’m sure we will. Andy says we may have gone through this wormhole thing.” He replied.

“What even is that?” I asked.

“I don’t know, ask him haha” he replied. I rolled my eyes and met up with the other three. “Hey guys, where are we gonna stay? We need some sort of shelter.”

“I know somewhere we could go! My brothers and I used to play war games when we were younger at this shack, no one ever goes there anymore. It’s not the best place to be but it’s something.” Sam suggested. We all nodded and Sam led the way to the shack.

*at the shack*

Felix’s P.O.V.

The whole time we were walking I kept glancing back at Jake and Molly. They seem to be getting really close, like more closer than what me and her were like this morning. I gritted my teeth at them, this one chance I get to tell her that I like her and I totally stuff it up, good one Felix! I heard Molly laughing to one of Jake’s jokes. This is so unfair.

“Dude you know Jake’s into her. You have some competition. It’s so obvious you like her,” Sam told me.

“I don’t like her!!” I protested

“It’s so obvious man! I’m the master of love! You need to go and do something about this, fight for her man, don’t be sour worm” he replied.

I rolled my eyes but thought about what he said, maybe he’s right. Jake does look like he’s enjoying the conversation, and so does Molly.

“So um where are we gonna sleep?” Molly asked pointing at all the dirt on the floor.

“I have a blanket in my bag, we can share it if you want” I said hoping she would say yes.

“Maybe. Hey Jake, do you wanna go for a walk?” Molly said turning her attention back to Jake.

Wow, so that’s what it feels like to be rejected, it stings like hell. I sighed and walked off slamming the door behind me.

Mariam’s P.O.V.

I watched Felix walk out the door, he seems to be pissed off. I would’ve said yes but I remembered about Sam’s plan. But I don’t know when I can just go and tell him that I love him.

“Hey Sam, when can I tell Felix? That I like him that is,” I asked

“Just wait a bit, a week max. But he’s definitely into you” he replied putting his arm around my shoulder. “Naww little Molly's growing up.” He added

“Oh shut up Sam” I laughed punching his shoulder playfully.
