I sit cross legged on my bed, with a piece of paper between my legs and a pencil in my fingers. I groan quietly. I've been sat on my bed for over an hour, trying to think of what home means to me. I keep repeating what he said but I don't get anything in mind. I puff out some air from my cheeks and decide to just not do it today. We have two weeks for this essay. I have time. If I don't have anything in mind today, then I sure will another day. Liam is working today. I only saw him this morning when he was ready to go. I miss him. I get up and go to my kitchen. I search the cupboards and fridge for any food to make. I prepare five sandwiches. One for me, two for Liam, and two for his uncle. I'm feeling generous today. I grab a bag of crisps and some chocolate. I also pack some coke and water. I stuff all the food into woven basket and set it on top of my bicycle. I take my keys and phone and lock the door. Lugging the bicycle down the stairs, careful not to drop my food either. I finally reach the bottom of the stairs and exit the building. I ride the streets of New York, cautious to not step on someone's foot or run over a toddler. I go into the alley, a shortcut, and see the bakery. I took the day off. Surely, Tania is glad I am. Honestly, I do like where I work. I don't like who I work with or the stale cookies we serve. But I do love baking. One day, I hope to own a bakery, maybe. I don't know.

I see Liam's uncles' workshop and head on over. His uncle spots me and hollers: "Liam, ya girl is here!".

Liam pops out from under a car, again, shirtless and sweaty. Dirty thoughts cloud my mind. Sorry, but I do recall having a shirtless, sweaty Liam in my bedroom a week ago.
He grins.

"Hey there, hottie." He bites his lip and pulls me in a hug. He starts whispering things in my ear but I can't hear him because his uncle is hollering.

"Boy, why you do that for? I know my sister taught you respect! You're all disguistin' Liam, for Gods sake!" I giggle and wrinkle my nose. He does smell terribly. He also smells like motor oil. He pulls away and kisses me passionately. No doubt, I am blushing hard. I don't know what's gotten into him but his uncle keeps shouting. I keep my eyes closed until he pulls away.

"I brought food." I say finally. A smirk takes over his lips.

"This is why I love you." He pecks my lips again. I blush and grab the basket. I hand two sandwiches to Liam and walk over to his uncle with two more and a water bottle. The cokes are for Liam and I.

"Here you go, I thought you'd be hungry as well." I smile politely. He grins widely showing all his teeth. I notice he has two gold teeth, also, they are yellowish. Maybe he smokes.

"Oh you're such a sweetheart! Thank you darling, I appreciate it." He says. I nod and smile at him. I go back to Liam and sit next to him. He is chewing as he speaks.

"He loves you because you brought him food. Anyone who gives him food is now part of the family." I laugh. I can't help but get flustered at the thought. Me. Part of Liam's family. I stay for a little longer until Liam tells me to go to his apartment and he'll meet me there in two hours. I agree. I decide to drop by and visit Tania and grab a few stale cookies at the bakery. The bell rings and out comes Tania from the back room. Her frown deepens. I, on the other hand, grin.

"How's my wonderful coworker?" I ask.

"I was doing just fine without you here. Why couldn't you just stay over there?" She snaps. I keep smiling.
