Chapter 10

I woke with a arm lightly on my waist. I opened my eyes and stared at the alarm clock that went off. '7:00am. Ugh, why can't I sleep in?' I gently took Kakashi's arm off of my waist and set it in front of him as I got up. I looked at him for a moment before noticing his breathing change then from when he was asleep and changed my gaze to the end of the bed. The little ninken from last night was sleeping there. I smiled softly and turned the alarm clock off before it decides to go off again, which it normally does. Opening our door, I left it open a bit incase the ninken wanted to come out. I stretched and popped my back before heading downstairs.

I went into the kitchen and plugged my phone into the speaker I have in there. One of my favorite songs came on and I started to sing and dance around as I got breakfast ready.

I danced over to the cabinet and grabbed pancake mix and vegetable oil for the pan. I mixed the stuff together and poured it into the pan over the hot stove. I stood in front of it and shut my eyes while continuing to sing.

I spun around on the second paragraph when I heard gasps and chairs slightly squeaking. Billy, Mike, Walter, Nate, Jessie, and Lyra were sitting in the chairs around the table or on the counters. Kakashi was leaning against the door frame with a wide eye and dressed for school with his blank black cloth around his left eye. I smiled and continued to sing.
