the bell dismissed the students to their next block. for some of them it was another academic class. but for the rest it was lunch. most students were trying to get out of their classes as fast as possible, in order to get the best lunch.

kim seungmin followed behind the mob of students rushing to the cafeteria. he was only trying to get to his locker, to get his lunch. he exchanged his textbooks for a paper bag, filled with random snacks he threw in, and no doubt a note from his mother, who forgot that her son was well beyond the age of cute "i love you" lunch notes.

"hey!" yang jeongin waved from across the hall to seungmin. he had a huge smile on his face. the two walked to the cafeteria, jeongin skipped his way there. they sat at a table occupying lee felix and han jisung.

lee felix, was a new student, from australia. the group got along very quickly with him.

han jisung, was very cheery. he was the one to count one to listen to any problems. and still came to you from issues too.

"we should go to the game after school today." felix suggested. seungmin rolled his eyes.

"why not, minnie?" jeongin asked. seungmin huffed and looked away. jeongin looked helplessly at jisung.

"you know hwang-" jisung was in the middle of explaining when seungmin interrupted.

"not know, jisung." seungmin said. felix looked lossed.

"who's this hwang guy?" felix asked.

"why do you hate him so much anyways?" jeongin asked. seungmin looked to where the infamous hwang hyunjin sat. a boy which all the girls had eyes on. the school's playboy. breaking hearts left and right, telling each girl they were so special, only to leave them in the dust a few days after.

just as seungmin looked at hyunjin, a freshmen girl, approached him.

"i—i think you're r—really nice, and c—cute, so i was w—wondering-"

"w—well to make th—this easier. you can leave, sweetie. if i don't know your name yet, i'm not going to try to." hyunjin said. the confused girl looked horrified. as the whole school was looking in their direction. "you're going to have to leave me alone, sweetheart." hyunjin, spun back around in his seat, to continue talking with his friends. the whole school seemed to leave the pair alone, after hyunjin's dismissal.

seungmin gave a look to his friends.

"do you clearly see why i don't like him?"

"what he does is wrong, and i don't support it? but what does that have to do with you?" jeongin asked.

"i just don't like how he disregards all those girls feelings like that. they deserve to be treated right, just as everyone else." seungmin said. felix looked around at everyone at the table.

"the game anyone?" felix asked.

"i'll go!" jisung said. jeongin looked at seungmin. he really wanted to spend more time with his friends, but would feel far too bad if seungmin didn't come along. they had been friends for the entirety of middle school, and even helped jeongin get used to high school.

"seungminnie, could we please go?"

"you can go without me jeongin." seungmin said. jeongin pouted. "fine."

"yes!" jeongin exclaimed, bouncing happily, on the bench.

i feel like i have to explain myself,
i wanted to make this an intro
but it felt more classified as a
"pilot episode"
because i still added plot and
not just the character introduction
