"I KNEW IT! I knew it! You didn't believe me, but I KNEW IT!" Janine said jumping up and down on the bed.

"I honestly have no idea what I'm going to do now. Louis always makes me laugh and he's always there to make me smile and he's easy to talk to. But when I talk to Liam it's like I'm a whole different person."

"Well, to answer that, who understands you the most when you talk?" she asked.

I thought about it for a moment, but I couldn't come up with an answer. It was hard to compare my conversations with the two, because, like I said before, I was a whole different person when I talked to Louis and when I talked to Liam.

"I really don't know," I said, confused out of my mind.

"Well for now you can stop thinking about it. Tomorrow after school, since it's Friday, we're going dress shopping for the ball. Which, now speaking of it, Zayn asked me to," she said excitedly.

"Really? That's so great! Congrats! But I don't think I'm going to the ball, I kind of have plans..." I said, thinking back to machine, the radiation, and the gas being released in the air saturday night.

"Plans? Like what?" Janine said skeptically.

"Well, um.." I had to find a reasonable excuse.

"Yeah, I thought so. You are coming with me to the my favorite dress store."

Janine and I walked to her favorite dress boutique, hopefully looking for the perfect dress. I objected and objected but it did nothing to stop her from dragging me to where I was now.

We walked into the store called Dress 2 Party and walked into the place. The boutique was filled with colorful dresses that overwhelmed me.

"Hi, mom!" Janine said to the lady up front at the cash register.

"Hi sweetie, this must be your friend, Jenelle! It's so nice to finally meet you. I'm Janine's mother, and I own the store." her mother said.

"Yes, this is her. So we're shopping for the ball on Saturday, and we wanted to know if you had any new dresses in stock?" Janine asked with her eyes lighting up.

"Of course, I always do," her mother said and led us to a long rack. "These are personally what I would prefer, feel free to try all of them on!" she said to me and Janine.

"Thanks mom! You're the best!" Janine said and hugged her mom. She grabbed about 3 dresses for her and about 4 for me and I sighed deeply under my breath. Agents like me didn't usually go dress shopping; as if I would need to wear a fancy dress while I fought off a bunch of terrorists. Janine just laughed and led me to the dressing room.

The first dress I tried on was red, and showed off WAY too much on the back. We agreed to put that one back on the rack.

The second dress covered my body a bit better, but had way too many sparkles on the front for my liking.

The third one was really nice, and the color was indigo with just enough sparkles on the bust. I loved it, but the length was just too long for me to handle.

The last one was the one. It rose just four inches above my knee and it was the perfect shade of light blue. Some sort of lace covered the front, and it was just pleasing to the naked eye. Janine and I agreed it was the one. Janine, on the other hand, chose a black flowy, lacy dress that fitted her well.

I changed back into my purple tank top and skinny jeans and walked up with Janine to pay for the dress. Her mother laid a hand on me while I took my credit card out and insisted that I leave it in my wallet.

"I insist that you let me give you that dress, only once in awhile does my daughter and her friend have their very first ball," she said smiling at us.

"You cannot be serious. Thank you do much! I really do appreciate it! A lot!" I exclaimed excitedly.

"Don't mention it. Now you girls go and have fun!"

This chapter bothered me, again lol. Soooo.... I'll post chapter 11 up too! Wow three chapters in one day!(:
