I was really glad I had Emme in my next class because then I could tell her about how Sarah acted. "Hey, I gotta go to science. You okay walking the rest by yourself?" I knew Ash was just worried about me getting lonely, but he knew I could handle myself. Ash had always been like a brother to me, but he had obviously been worrying more since he heard about the murder... "Yeah, yeah, go ahead," I replied calmly. But the truth was, I wanted him to walk with me. I just wanted him to stop, and give me one of those hugs that make you feel completely safe. "Naomi... are you okay?"
