Yoko || A Splatoon Story

~Two~

The place I lived at was called Lake Vonich. It was mostly populated with chums, (big chums), (little chums), and worst of all stealers. Most crimes happen here, reason why nobody visits here. Stealers are the worst, they basically strip everything off of you and run off. I made it home, to my guy only family. Every sibling of mine is male, even my parents. They love each other very much. Grew up with gays all my life. Mostly everyone in that family is a steel head, including my fathers. That's how they met each other too. I'm just the only girl under the roof, but they treat me no different that their siblings. "Heyyy, Chi Chi's back!" The second to oldest son, Hagane cheers. "Ahoy Yoko~" Hagane's best friend Sarge waves. He's basically another Hagane, but angrier. Hagane and Sarge are twins, but they are the closest to each other. "Whaddup you two," I wink, and try to escape to my room before more of my brothers come. "Ahh! My lovely girl!~" One of my fathers, Kyoto smiles wide. Kyoto was the motherly type of guy, always so happy. "Hello Kyo, I got done early," I beam back. "Yay, my girl makes me really happy every time I see her!~" Kyo gushes. "Ah Stop," I shake my head, still smiling. "I'll be in my room for a minute," I move aside for Kyo and headed straight to my room.

I was the only one to have my own room, all of my siblings shared. I kind of feel guilty, just getting my own space, but it's nice too. I rip off my apron and hung it on the hook of my bed. My body fell backwards and hit the comfy bed, which was a beaten up mattress. But it is what it is. I stared at the beaten blank wall, so much bullet holes up there. Before our huge family moved in, this house is where this gang of Stealers grouped, so many murders happened here. The stealers were caught and arrested, they cleaned everything out. Then my two fathers decided it was a great idea to move into a big place. So they chose where Stealers basically banged each other and gambled. I sigh, throwing on a baggy white t-shirt. I take off my shoes first, then olive green army pants and slipped into shorts. I looked at my reflection in a cracked mirror, there were oil smudges caked onto my freckley face.

As I was about to leave, Kyo's husband Hinato stops me in the doorway. "Ahh home early I assume?" He scowls. "Yes, actually," I nod. "Why didn't you let me know?" He asked kind of hurt. "Sorry, I just barely got home," I apologize quickly. "Next time tell me okay?" Hina touches my shoulder gently. Hinato was serious one in their relationship. Though he looks like he's going to murder you, he was a very sweet spot. He's just "shy about it", as what Kyo says. Hina gets out of the doorway and I marched to the bathroom getting a wash cloth. I wipe all of the oil off of my face. The youngest brother that was my age comes bursting through into the bathroom with nothing but a towel on. "Aye! There's my baby sis!" He teases and hugs me tightly. "Sora! Lay off!" I push him off. "Well that's a little rude," Sora sounded offended. "Sorry Sora..." I mumble. "So why are you back early eh Yoyo?" Sora asks while turning the facet on to fill up a bucket of water to take a shower in. We only have a wash cloth and a bucket of water to shower in. That's the only way to be clean. "Boss let me off early. I got to test the mothership today," I reply briefly. "Wow really? What's it like?" Sora seemed to have interest. "It was, kind of weird actually. Really difficult too like the steel eel," I explain, not paying any attention to Sora. "Cool! It's funny that only you can actually figure out how to work them," Sora chuckles a little.

"Well I mean, Boss can," I added. "Okay Yoyo get our before I show my bits and pieces," Sora threatens and drops the towel. "Oh god no," I scurry out covering my face. I joined Sarge and Hagane in the living room. The two were acting like they were high, laughing at the ceiling and started sobbing about their love lives. "Hey Chiyoko, can you go to the store and get us some things?" Hina calls from the other room. "Yeah, sure," I answer throwing on some shoes and was about to leave. "Wait wait I'm coming too!" The middle brother, Jai, ran downstairs to me. "You sure Jai?" I raise an eyebrow. "I don't want you out there alone, you're my baby sis. Gotta protect you," Jai explains. I knew if I argued him he would kill me. "Alright fine, but don't go over what we have got it?" I warn him. "Yeah yeah let's just go," he shoos me to the door and I open it. He exits before me and I came after him. "Okay Koko, where to?" Jai folds his arms. "Hmm, let just go to the main part of town first and decide from there," I suggest. Jai just nods, we headed towards that way.
