Toni walked down the hallway, happy that she had made a friend. A Northside friend, which she wouldn't normally want to admit to. She had always been told to stay with the Serpents because they were protective and weren't (as Sweet Pea had quoted) 'snobby basics'

Although Cheryl had described herself as the most basic person at Riverdale High, Toni couldn't help but to think that she was different. Sure, she had a lot of 'friends' and all they did was gossip and blah blah blah. But from what she had just heard from Cheryl, she seems like she hates it. Which doesn't make her basic, does it?

She turned the corner, deep in thought as she walked along the hallway. School had ended already so she didn't exactly know why she was wondering around, she just figured it might be peaceful without all the idiots shouting and swearing all the damn time.
Again, not that different to Southside. She assumed that if she did get caught she'd say that she was either going to a late club or leaving one. They can't really blame her for that.

Also, she may or may not have had to meet someone....... from the Southside.

She ran up one of the many stairs to get to the computing/tech block, making sure not to make much sound with her combat boots.
(Yes, Toni has combat boots. She'd absulotely kill them ok)

She stopped as she finally reached her destination. Standing outside her computing room, she quickly glanced into the mirror, checking that they had shown up. They did, of course. They were never late for anything, so she wasn't suprised that they were looking around for her. She took a deep breath, and walked in.

~Cheryl POV~

She waited outside of the school building, now getting frustrated because of how long her 'friends' were taking. She was supposed to wait for them while they get out of the River Vixens uniform so she could give them a ride home, because somehow every time Cheryl asks to hitch a ride with them without her car, their cars are always 'out of gas' or 'getting fixed' which she knew was obviously a lie cause she wasn't stupid but it's whatever.
She knew she should've taken Toni's advice, but she wasn't ready to lose them yet.

She checked her phone for the for the hundredth time in the ten minutes she had been waiting, knowing that she had messages to respond too.

(These are texts)

Archie: have you seen betty today? I don't think she came to school. I mean technically she is your cousin so I'd assume you know

Cheryl: no

Archie: so,,, no as in no you haven't seen betty or no as in you don't care and don't want to talk to me.

Cheryl: both

Archie: Ok. She might be in her house, I'll check

Cheryl: you didn't think to check their first?

Archie: wait a sec I found her. She's at Jughead's house with him

Cheryl: and I needed to know that why...?

Archie: just thought I'd let you know

Cheryl: thanks.

When Cheryl was bored, she was really bored. The ideal thing for her to do right now was to go check on the girls so naturally, that's what she did. She walked into the building, walking quickly down the halls because she was frustrated at how long they take to get ready. She might aswell just kick them off the team, they never get anything right anyway. They just sit in the wings talking about cute boys, which Cheryl thought was an incredibly dull thing to do.

She placed her hand around the door frame for the changing rooms, but to her surprise, nobody was there. She groaned as she realised she now had to check the whole school to find those bitches. Cheryl hated it when they did this because every single time she did it, she never laughed. It just wasn't funny.

She picked up her bag and quickly checked the mirror to fix her makeup and hair, otherwise she would get severely judged from the other girls. As she walked out, she heard faint voices coming from the floor above her. The school was pretty much empty so she guessed they thought they were alone, since she heard at least two different voices.

Suddenly filled with suspicion and curiosity, she began to make her way above the stairs. She took her high heels off in case they made too much noise, the last thing she wanted to do was make a racket in an echoey school. The chances of them hearing her would be pretty high to say the least.

She had been in this school nearly all her life so she knew to duck when reaching the top of the stairs because of the glass window that most people used for a mirror (including herself) and knelt down at the step of the door, anticipation now fueling her every move.

As the voices got louder as she put her ear to the door, she could hear a few clear words of their conversation.

'.....money.....late.....business....topaz'

What the hell could that mean? Money, late, business, topa- wait a second. Topaz? As in,, Toni Topaz? I don't think she has any siblings that I know of... so why?-

As her thoughts got deeper she wondered how people already knew the new girl. She wasn't popular. She took a risk and slowly brought her eyes up to the glass. Her eyes widened as she saw Toni and what appeared to by another Southside Serpent. She couldn't quite tell who it was and could only see the jacket, but she assumed that they weren't on good terms.

She ducked as she thought that they had spotted her, her heart beating 10x faster than it did before. Without thinking, she leapt up and ran down the stairs as quickly as she could.

She didn't know what was happening between the two but she knew it couldn't be good.
