The next day I decided that I would try to get to know Ayato. His little outburst yesterday simply told me to be a bit cautious around him. But fathers words yesterday give me some food for thought, maybe hes going through a bard time adjusting to a new school, or maybe he has issues at home hes dealing with and I'd like to be there for him. For the good book says love thy neighbor, and I always read my bible.
The second day of classes was underway and I decided to sit near Ayato, even though he was way in the back almost like he wanted to be avoided. And when I first saw him when I walked in, he looked like hed been up all night he had shades on, his hair was even more raggedy, and he looked even more pale than usual. I just whispered to him "Ayato are you alright you look a little off today." He simply glared at me from under his shades and just turned away to ignore me. At lunch I tired to find him outside, he was sitting next to the peach tree near the fenceline and it looked like he was just staring at the clouds, but I noticed that his shades were off. And for a split second as he turned his head I could see that there was a bruise near his eyes and a red mark on the side of his head. What was going on, was Ayato being bullied at school, no that can't be the others don't seem like the type. Could it be somethint at home? Its so painful to watch I had to turn away, that poor boy, abused in his own home. I had to tell someone, but I'm worried he'llget in even more trouble and it might hurt him if I spill a secret hes trying to hide.
