That was odd, Ayato never mentioned anything about his father before. I always assumed that he was dead or left the family. It was kinda strange to actually see him here, he didnt even look like he would even be their father maybe like an uncle or something he seemed way too young. His features were almost angelic in their quality, but I guess thats how immortality works for vampires. "Oh it's a pleasure to meet you mr..." "Hienz, Karlheinz my dear and I must say it is wonderful to finally meet my son's new girlfriend, I just have so much to ask and tell you." "Yeah thanks dad but no Yui and I were just leaving" without barely a warning Ayato bolted out of his seat with my arm in his hand, as he dragged me out through the end of the living room I finally managed to get him to let go. "Ayato, the hell's the matter with you, walking out on your own father in front of your own family what's the matter with you?" "Yui, I didn't want to tell you this and I had hoped that he would never actually come near us ever again... but my dad's probably the whole reason why I got trapped with my mom in the first place and how the others all have their own issues." I just stared at him as if he was trying to tell me something, yet it almost sounded like an excuse to justify what he was doing. "Oh cmon babe, you can't seriously believe your father is why you happend to be that way." "It's true Yui, from the moment I was born, hell when we were all born, he's been using us to get his own way and he always used to torture us if we happend to "fail" him. One time he sent Shu to the North Pole because he failed a math test, and then he sent Laito to the Amazon for a week cuz he was caught in bed with a maid." "Ayato I love you and trust you, but I think you're taking this way overboard. But I'll go along with it and investigate it with you in time... just promise me that you'll try and be with your family." I know that he wasn't all that happy about it but he finally resigned to it, so I led him back into the dining room to rejoin everyone. After the plates had been served up it was time to dig in.
