Ch. 13 What Have I Done

The day dragged on like a mother, the bloodlust in me just wouldnt go away and I nearly lost it in gym class when it was swim day and I saw Yui in her bathing suit. I had to resist the urge to go for her throat and drain her dry. I never even told her yet that I was a vampire, how could she possibly even react to that? She'd probably think I was crazy or part of some weird cult that goes around drinking human blood. I can't tell her until the time is right, but I'm having a hard time actually keeping my vampiric urges and physical features a secret, she nearly made me a couple times when my teeth glinted for a splits second and I had to tell her I had a special condition that made my canines sharper.
But after school, things got bad. A couple of people decided to throw a major party at one of their parents house and invited Yui and I to come, I honestly thought why not its a good chance to hang out have some fun. So I went to take Yui to the house with a car that her father managed to buy for me.  I swear her father basically gave me a new life bought me a car, new clothes, even helped with getting me into Yui's school. "You excited for tonight Ayato, I heard that this is gonna be a pretty wild party, but I hope it doesn't get too out of control I've still got some work to do for tomorrow." "Aw relax Yui you just gotta go with the flow of everything just be yourself don't let the kids get ya down." "Thanks Ayato" and then se did something that I thought could never happen, she actually gave me a kiss on the cheeck. What the hell was that? I had never even seen her do anything remotely flirty with me and then all of a sudden she does that. My face just went near red and I seriously couldn't hide it at all. "Oh I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me." "No i... its ok, to be honest I.... kinda liked it." "You're so bad Ayato" I could feel the bloodlust startingto take over, it was so hard withher being so close to me and doing that, it was almost unberable.
Finally we arrivedat the party and everyone started to head to the main living room, suprisingly my brother Laito was there. He was generally considered the massive womanizer of the family, he would try and hookup with nearly everyone that he met it didn't matter who. "Well well, Ayato, I see you invited your girlfriend to the party." "Shes not my girlfriend you idiot." "Oh too badx such a pretty little thing would certainly care for a man in her life." "Uhm, thank you but I think I'll pass." "Shame your missing out." And with that he wandered away to mingle with the other pretty girls. "Ayato, who was that I've never seen him before" "that was just my brother Laito "super perv" we basically call him, just ignore him he won't bother you." "Well at least you'll be here with me." It was like she was flirting with me and she didn't even realize it, control yourself man we're just friends that's it.  "Ok everyone time to play spin the bottle everyone up to the bedroom." Oh god dammit Laito, what the hell was that.
A few people gathered around in a small circle with Yui on the other side of me and a couple other kids. Of course the others went first and basically had a sex fest in the closet, but I hope that I could get Yui and myself out of this. Then the worse thing happend, the bottle spun on me and Yui, she blushed furiously and we were led into the closet for our 10 min in heaven. "Dammitx I didn't even wanna play this stupid game my idiot brother brought this up." "If you want Ayato, we can just leave or we can just sit in here its not like they listen." "I just don't want to make things awkward between us, I mean we're friends and we live under the same roof and your dad's done so much for me, I couldn't do that to him." She just paused and looked a little to the side. "Ayato, I actually have a confession" "what?" "You know when we were kids and you gave me that little pep talk when I was being bullied, well ever since then... I.... I've loved you from that very moment." She almost basically yelled that and it actually took me off guard. "But I've hidden my feelings from you because you deserve so much better than me and I would only be in the way of things and honestly there are girls out there way hotter than me." I was shocked, I couldnt believe that she said that to me, I suddenly just leaned towards her and kissed her. Then she returned it and soon we were basically making out, she started to undo my shirt and wrapped her arms around her neck and I started to undo the collar of her shirt. It was getting so hot and heavy that suddenly the bloodthirst came over me. As she was kissing me I could see her neck open and exposed, then.... I bit down in her neck.
She let out a faint yelp and I started to suck her blood almost like a hungry beast. "Ayato, what're you doing stop what are you doing." It was like I was deaf to her, all I could hear was the sound of her blood rushing intomy body, one of the tastiest things I've ever had. Eventually she pushed me away from her, and I was horrifed at what I saw, her neck was coated in blood from the bite wounds that I gave her and there was blood all over my chest.  Tears started to well up in Yuis eyes as she looked at me in horror. "Ayato, what are you, are you some kind of blood fanatic?" "Yui I'm so sorry please let me explain" no get away from me what are you." I was horrified at what just happend, right then I simply just wanted to run away and leave this place. With no warning, I grabbed my shirt and ran out of the closet blood still covering my body, what the hell was I thinking I'm such an idoit, first she tells me that shes been in love with me, then I nearly drink her dry! What the fuck is wrong with me and now she sees me as a freak and wants nothing to do with me... stupid, stupid, stupid.
