I had been running for nearly a day now and even with my superhuman stamina, my body was nearly worn out. It must have something to do with my tasting blood for the first time, now that my body's gotten a tatse for it I can't go more than a few hours it seems. But I've gotta resist the urge no matter how much pain or how much fatigue it costs me, I won't let that happen to another human not ever. After I had run through the forest I stumbled onto a cave and decided that this would be a good place to try and rest, or at least get some time to ease the pain away. Yui had taught me a littlw bit about some of the herbs that grew around here and hos they could be used to make some types of medicine. She told me especially about a moss that could be ground up into some sort of poultice that could ease aches and pains, and just my luck the cave happend to be crawling with the stuff. But wait there wss also one that was toxic ugh but I cant remeber what color it was and it seemd like there were a lot of random samples around here, if only I'd paid a bit more attention instead of staring at her ass. So I just gathered a couple of each and tried it by memory, luckily the white moss that I had picked looked to be the right kind. As I mashed it up and applied it to my skin, I could feel the pain beginning to dull a bit, at least that would hive me a moment to colllect myself and figure out something. I need some sort of subsitute for blood, but I don't wann go around drinking from random humans or animals and we've all seen how my willpower is with just fasting. But, I noticed a small bag near the very back of the cave, strange but I decided to take a look. When I opened it, it looked like pills of some kind, but when I bit into one, blood came out and nearly filled me up. Plasma pills, what the hell? Who would leave this in the middle of the woods especially when humans didn't even realize that vampires even existed. Then I noticed a small note in the bag, "thought these might help for your first time try not to kill her she's important." What the hell was this about, who could've left these pills. But at least now I have a means to control the thirst, I'll rest here until tomorrow and then I'll head back to Yui, hopefully she's not gonna be angry I left.
