The day ended fairly quicklyand everyone started to leave the classroom. But Ayato was taking his time and being sluggish woth his movements like he didn't want to even leave the room. I started to walk out the door of the school to walk home and then I noticed a woman in a dark purple dress near the fenceline. She had dark purple hair possibly dyed and she had a long black dress, strange for a fashion choice, its as if she was going to be attending a ball somewhere not going out to pick up her kid. It was odd so I decidedto hide and take a closer look at her. As I waited I saw Ayato start to walk near her, could that be his mother? I couldnt hear anything but she was almost yelling at him, he looked like he wanted to run away yet couldn't. And then the biggest thing that happend... she slapped him, right across the face in public I could hear it even from where I was standing and it sounded awful. That poor boy, if thats the type of thing that he has to deal with at home no wonder he comes in looking miserable and angry.
I have to find a way to try and get him to talk to me to open up about all of this at least then I could help him through it and make a lasting impression on him. At least I hope he'll be safe tonight
