Bobby insisted that he should drive and there was some grumbling on Dean's part. Each of the boys had grabbed a small duffel bag and you were reminded that you had nothing except the clothes you were wearing and your gun. It was decided that the first stop made would be to grab what you needed.

Walking through the car yard to Bobby's vehicle you noticed the Impala in the far garage. You could see the front end was still pretty busted up. Dean turned from the group and made his way in that direction while you followed Sam and Bobby. They led you to an older coupe that could definitely use a paint job. Bobby opened the trunk to the '71 Chevelle and stood looking down into it for a moment. One of his hands rose and adjusted his hat as Sam joined him. Bobby reached down to pull out a small box with the word 'silver' written on it in sharpie. Dean walked up then with a second duffel bag on his shoulders and Bobby asked him, "You have the other box?"

Dean reached into the second duffel bag and pulled out a box of ammo about the same size and handed it to Bobby while asking, "Bags under the seats?" He sounded the opposite of enthused. Bobby nodded and you watched Dean open one of the doors and lean into the back. He pulled up the long bench seat and threw his bag into the compartment that was built into the vehicle.

"Wow," you thought aloud, "Customized."

Dean smirked as he passed you to get around to the rear end of the vehicle. "You should see the trunk." He pulled a handgun out of the back of his jeans and you admired the engraving on the barrel and the ivory grips. It was a pretty Colt 1911, the one you were familiar with from its use on the show. He started loading in silver bullets with the other two. You pulled your gun from where it had been tucked between your belt and jeans. You weren't surprised when you stepped up to the trunk and saw something similar to what you had seen in the back of the Impala from the TV show. There was a multitude of weapons. Half of the trunk was dedicated to guns and ammo while the other half held two different machetes, multiple knives, a hatchet, holy water, and a small grouping of little artifacts. On the underside of the lid was, of course, a devil's trap. Seeing the box of silver 9mm ammo, you let the cartridge out of your gun and began to take out the normal rounds.

"I don't expect you to be shooting much," Bobby told you in a tone that meant he would make sure you weren't going to see much action, "but go ahead and load your gun."

You nodded, letting him know that you understood, and then proceeded to fill your cartridge with silver rounds. After the guns were loaded Dean made sure there were enough silver blades in the trunk for a small army. Bobby double checked all of the supplies before announcing you were ready to take off. The car only had two doors which meant that Bobby had to hold the driver door open and the seat out of the way for you to get into the back. Dean did the same for Sam on the other side, smirking as Sam huffed and bent himself as small as he could to get into the vehicle.

"Wouldn't it make more sense for you to sit in the front?" you asked Sam. The taller brother's knees were pressed into the seat in front of him. He replied with a heavy sigh that seemed to be a yes, but he shook his head from side to side after that. You were sure he had tried suggesting that before. You looked to the front seat and saw Dean getting comfortable.

The first stop was a superstore at one of the first exits. Bobby handed you a credit card with the name William Joel on it and told you to fill a bag. You gathered enough clothing to last a week and all of the toiletries you needed. There was no trouble with the credit card and soon you were back in the car and on the road.

The car ride wasn't terrible. Every few hours Bobby would stop to stretch legs and get food. The Chevelle might not look like a good road trip vehicle, but you could tell that Bobby had kept it up as far as the engine and the ride were concerned. You wished you had brought that book you had been reading to fill time, but you managed to have some little conversations with Sam between staring out the window and nodding off.
