Amora's POV
This Saturday has gone on forever.

But the thing is... I haven't done a lot.

First I make pancakes with Zane and ended up burning them because I was stupid and left Zane to watch them!

They weren't that bad if you added a bunch of syrup and whipped cream.

The second thing I did was run to the store to buy food for my own home.

My stepmom Mia called me and with a few stutters she said we were out of a few things:
Eggs
Flour
Sugar
Milk

It's as if she wants to bake something. She usually isn't one for baking and is more into cooking.

But I ignore that and go and get the items.

At the store I find the first three items but when I go to find milk I see that they are out of 2% milk. This usually happens once a year.

I'm not sure why it happens to be honest.

People just like to have milk in February I guess.

So I walked up to a girl who was wearing the store shirt.

She was short maybe 5'4. Blonde hair cut into a bob on her shoulders.

There are plenty more employees but I just want to go to a female for some reason.

I walk up and tap her on the shoulder.

"Excuse me?" I say. And she turns around.

"Yes? Do you need help with anything?" She asks with a sweet smile on her face.

When she smiles her eyes curve up as if they are smiling as well.

I glance at her name tag... Emma.....

"Uh yeah, I do. So, Emma do you know if there is anymore 2% milk in the back?" I ask.

She nods her head then looks over her shoulder and pulls out her walkie-talkie and says someone's name into it and a second later a man comes up.

He has short brown hair and is also wearing the store's shirt.

He smiles at Emma then looks at me.

It's as if he read my mind.

"Out of milk?" He asks.

"Yeah," I say and he smiles. His smile is more of a cute crooked one that only few can pull off.

He's definitely one of those few.

"Don't worry I got ya!" He says before turning around and walking through a door by the bakery.

Emma turns back to me after watching him leave.

"Sorry about this. It seems like the milk disappears right as we stock up in February" Emma says looking at me.

I nod and she looks down.

"Oh. You have a cut string?" She asks motioning to my pinky string.

I look down at it as well.

"Yeah, it's been cut ever since I was born. Maybe like a week after." I say and she nods with a slight look of pity in her eyes.

"You looking for him?" She asks.

"I try. But he seems to be nonexistent at the moment" I say with a giggle, but Emma looks as if she is in wonderland.

"What about you... you don't have a string," I say hoping it's nothing bad.
