Chapter 2.4:'Hello or Goodbye?'

Zelo's P.O.V.

It's almost been a month since that accident. Everyday is like a stormy day for all of us here and everyday I am praying and hoping that she gets better but nothing really happens.

"Zelo.You go home first and rest. I'll stay here and call you if annoying happens." I heard Tiffany say.

"I can't. I want Jye to see me the first thing she wakes up." I protested.

"Zelo,you really need rest. When Jye wakes up,do you want her to see you like that? And don't worry, I'll call you." She smiled. I couldn't do anything but agree. Everyday we've been exchanging visits because even we are busy. Even my band mates and our classmates visit her from time to time.

I left the hospital and went to someplace memorable to both Jye and I. The balcony at the back of our school. That's where I first asked her to be my girlfriend. At that moment, I thought I was the happiest man in the world. It might be cliché but it's really how I felt.

Stepping here right now at this bench brings back the nervousness I felt back then. I had problems when I told my parents about her but I didn't give any attention to it. They kept telling me to marry Sophia no matter what, but I didn't want to. It's just not right thinking she deserves someone better than me.

Flashback

After telling my parents about Jye and about not wanting to marry Sophia, they just couldn't help but be angry at me.

"What are you saying Zelo?! You need to marry Sophia!" My mom shouted at me.

"But I don't love her." I told her. I don't wanna be stuck with a person forever whom I have absolutely no feelings for.

"I don't care if you freaking don't love her! You just need to marry HER!"

"But I don't want to." I said. She was already impatient seeing her standing up from her chair and hitting the table.

"This is for you Zelo! Just for Pete's sake marry her!"

"This is not for me! This is for you and that lousy company of yours! It was never for me." I said then stood up and headed for the door when my mom spoke again.

"You choose, this family or that girl."

"I'd rather be with the girl who cares for me rather than my parents who's supposedly be caring for me but their too busy caring for theirselves." I answered. "Don't forget to cancel the wedding, bye." Then I left.

End

After a few minutes of reminiscing that moment, I felt my phone vibrate.

"Hello?"

["Zelo, where are you?"]

"Ah Tiffany, I'm at school."

["Well, whatever. Come here at the hospital quick."]

"Why?"

["Zelo, she's awake."]

I quickly ended the phone and without a second thought, I rushed to the hospital to where Jye is right now. I don't know how I can face her, I don't know what to say to her but I want to see her.

~at the hospital

I ran to Jye's room and opened the door to her room. I saw her awake and she was smiling while talking to Tiffany until she saw me.

"Um can you leave us first?" Jye said towards the nurse and Tiffany whose inside the room at the moment.

"Sure." And they went out. I was left alone with the girl I love whose lying injured in a hospital bed. I don't know what to say. I became a statue afraid of what she might say. She was looking outside the window then she shifted her gaze to me.

"What are you standing there for? Come here." She said smiling innocently. I nervously walked towards her then stopped. I wanna cry. I know this happened because of me. I can't believe myself.

She was staring at me until she hugged me tightly. Then I felt my shirt getting wet. She's crying. I also hugged her back, tightly. I missed her. Her hugs,kisses and everything.

In the midst of her crying, she spoke while sobbing. "Zelo, please don't leave me. Please."

"I won't." I answered. She tightened her hug like I did. We were standing there hugging each other for a while until I drew back and lifted her face.

"I'm sorry." I whispered to her. She smiled and shook her head. "I love you." Then I kissed her.

"I love you too." She said in between our kisses. It was a long,passionate and full of love kiss. I will never let go of this girl again. Ever.
